I love everything about them. Their food is amazing! Listen, your go to place and anyone says different…you ain’t to be eating Jamaican in the first place. Music, vibe, food and the owners!!!! 100 stars. Love y’all. I eat my oxtails everytime only here. Travelled all over and had Jamaican in the US but this is the best! Their creative ideas with the soups and how they do the jerk chicken. Love it.

Wow! Traveled to ND for work and came across JVK. Had to see what a Jamaican restaurant was doing in Minot. I found way more than expected! The owners are awesome and the food is extra special. Very Impressive food and people. I had the Jerk chicken w/ Mac & Cheese and it exceeded my expectations. Great Job guys

Their Jerk Chicken Mac is amazing! Chicken is flavorful and the sauces they use make such a great taste! The portion size for the price is 10/10. The owners and staff are also very polite and professional!

Good location for business, but the vibe is off for a Jamaican restaurant. Would have liked more jerk chicken on my Mac for the price. Flavors were a bit off for jerk chicken. Had a dominant flavor of ginger and could have used more Thyme or Allspice ( maybe longer marinade).The heat/spice was perfect (for my taste. Everything was fresh and I WILL go back to check out the bone-In chicken plate with the sides as they were out of chicken ( bone in) at my visit.

We heard all the raves about it and stopped in for lunch. Absolutely incredible food, finally something other than Mexican in this town and it's worth it. Super reasonable prices and for the small size portion you still get a decent portion. 10 outta 10.

I ordered the jerk chicken and rice with veggies. Loved the dish! Proportion size was large enough to feed me for lunch and dinner. My 10 year old (and myself) loved the knoephla soup. I ordered the small size and she was asking for more. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Been here twice now. Had the ox tail last week and this week we tried the 2-piece bone in chicken meal. Both are really delicious. Portion sizes are great. We went to Qdobas the night before and we had more proteins on our plate from this restaurant than Qdobas.
