“Sitting at JL beers. Working today so no beer. The pretzel was great and beer cheese dip had a nice mustard tang. Burger was good also. Now... I feel like everything shrunk but me. Pretzel way smaller than last time and the burger seemed small. Great flavors. I always just get a burger. I could have eaten a side today. I love the atmosphere and in these places. AC works well too! Important when it's almost 90 out!. Service was good, but not memorable.“

“Great place to meet coworkers for dinner. Right in the middle of downtown. Cool area with good food. Overall tasty dishes, but missed a bit on food for all of our party with too much salt on Veggies. Great servers. Would definitely come back and have another steak or tomahawk pork “

“The food was excellent. We started with chips and salsa. The chips were homemade and the salsa was unlike any I've had. It consisted of roasted tomatoes, onion and jalapeños. It had a really fresh taste. My husband had a carne asada burrito that he said was really good, especially the red hot sauce provided. I had a carnitas bowl with rice, queso fresca, lots of meat and pico de gallo. I added a half order of guacamole to it. It was sooo good. The bowl was huge. I couldn't begin to finish it, so took most of it home. The restaurant is set up so that you order at the counter and sit down in the d I ning area. They bring your food to you. Drinks are bought out of a cooler. The dining area is small with round tables seating no more than three people. If I had a crowd, I would do take-out of which there was plenty of business. Despite the lack of ambiance, the food is so good that if I lived in the area, I would come again and again.“
