“K’s Bakery is hands down THE BEST bakery/luncheon restaurant in town! Prices are a bit above what one would like to spend, but the taste is above and beyond any other! You do get what you pay for! I have frequented K’s since it opened in the old K Mart lot. I have baked literally thousands of cookies in my lifetime; even baking and selling as a cottage business. Ingredients matter and K’s uses real butter! (Not a cheap ingredient) K’s make their own mayonnaise for their chicken salad. (Time consuming) Pie plates are more than one use, so a deposit is paid, but reimbursed on the return of the plate. (Good use of resources and the Earth)
