I bought Hoagie buns on Thursday two days later they were moldy. I called and was told they would replace them. Today I stopped in to get that replacement I was promised and was told they would not honor it. And told me that its normal for their bread to become moldy 48 hours after baking.

Based on the reviews, Breadsmith of Fargo is a bakery that has been in Fargo, ND for quite a few years. Nothing beats the bread, and the different kinds of breads are a highlight. Customers love the sourdough, soft wheat, honey wheat, and sour dough round loafs that are so good and chewy. The rosemary garlic ciabatta, peasant buns, and spicy roasted red pepper pesto are amazing. Specific treats like Carmel rolls, coffee cakes, and blue berry scones are also very good. The place looks and smells like a real German bakery. The service is outstanding, with a very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. The owner was kind and provided a thorough demo for a school group, even letting students take home individual pizza dough balls. Many bread selections are on hand, including some breads safe from tree nuts, specialty breads, treats, and pizza dough. Customers become addicted and cannot recommend this business enough.
