Absolutely delicious melt-in-your-mouth burnt ends, and the pulled pork is just as good. Service was a bit slow but the restaurant was very busy, so nothing we weren’t expecting for a Saturday summer lunch rush. We were surprised to be able to get indoor seating for 4 with no wait. Good portion sizes for adult meals and the kiddie meals as well. The Piggy will be a staple restaurant we return to again and again!

My review of Piggy BBQ

A ZERO rating would’ve been too high.

Got there approx 2pm on Sunday May 3. Three tables were occupied when we got there. Took quite awhile to get menu’s, and when we did, the server put them down in the table, never spoke to us or even acknowledged us.
Took another 5 minutes for her to take our drink order and another 10 to get her to take our order. My biggest regret was while we were waiting so long for her to take our order that we didn’t get up and walked out like we had discussed doing.
I watched her deliver the wrong meals to another table and walk away. They had to tell her they were the wrong meals.
She then took the meals to the proper table. She didn’t know if the food had been already touched or not. That was disgusting.
From where I was sitting during all this time I could see she was very busy behind the bar on her phone.
When she brought our order she didn’t say anything, put the food on the outer edge of the table so we had to figure out which was which.
She never came back to the table to check on us, even to ask us how things were or if everything tasted ok.
The food was extremely disappointing.
Salsa mixed with sour cream is not a Southwest ranch dressing as described on the menu. The “shredded chicken” salad had pulverized meat on it that looked much more like canned tuna fish and was totally inedible.
My brisket sandwich consisted of a bun so stale it was dry and hard to chew and the brisket was dry as a bone with no sauce of any kind on it. I had a side of potato salad that looked and tasted like it came from Super One.
I needed a knife to cut the sandwich in half, but again, the server was nowhere to be found.
When she finally came back to give me the bill I refused to pay for the chicken salad as it was inedible. She did take it off the bill, but the amount charged for this totally unappetizing and inedible meal was outrageous even after she took the one salad off the bill.
She, the server, definitely needs training in people skills and customer service. And more experience or supervision in the kitchen is blatantly needed.

Stopped in on Friday of Memorial Day weekend for lunch. The waitress could not be bothered with us and was not friendly at all. It took forever just to get waters and then forever to order. She walked past us probably 5-6 times before acknowledging us. While ordering she was indifferent and rude. There were four of us and my food arrived 5-10 minutes before everyone else's. My pulled pork was luke warm at best, without much flavor. The coleslaw and cornbread were fine, nothing special. Finally everyone else’s food arrived and was also cold. Two of the orders were incorrect. One had a side added that wasn’t ordered and one was in bowl form when a sandwich was ordered. The waitress never came back to check in. They aren’t even making the food fresh and are just zapping it. Overall a disappointing experience, especially given the high price. Definitely will not return.
