Great place pizza excellent
We celebrated my grandma & grandpa’s birthday tonight at Hula Grill because it’s always been their favorite place! Normally, my grandparents host (even on their own birthday!) this was our first time there since the sale and we had such a great time. The staff surprised my grandparents with the most INCREDIBLE dessert pizza that had us all fighting over the slices! We know pizza 🙈, and Hula Pizzeria & Grill totally impressed us all tonight! Hula Pizzeria & Grill is a very clean place downtown with plenty of table and booth seating. The pizza is amazing, with the crust often highlighted as the star—the best pizza crust ever, still good even as leftovers. Both the regular and sourdough crusts are available, with the original crust being great and the sourdough having good flavor. The sauce has the perfect amount of sweetness. Toppings are really tasty, with great options available. Specific pizzas like the Maui Wowie and Greek Combo on sourdough crust are delicious. Other standout items include perfectly cooked teriyaki chicken, crispy wings (both hot and mild), and crispy potstickers. The Maui Platter offers a massive spread of food. For dessert, an incredible dessert pizza and soft serve ice cream are available. The service is wonderful, friendly, and helpful, with kind staff that makes experiences special. While most food is great, the macaroni salad, coleslaw, and garlic bread sticks are noted as items that didn't stand out or needed a little work.
