The hotel we stayed at suggested this restaurant since we wanted walleye. Our server was great. Wish I could remember his name. The fish was broiled instead of fried but was still tasty. My husband's asperagus was a bit underdone. I ordered a Bloody Mary and was brought a menu to choose the mix, vodka and what all I wanted added. It was VERY good but a little pricey. My husband loved his Margarita. For the 2 of us, 2 walleye dinners and a cocktail for each of us the bill...
Ordered a Bloody Mary, Caesar Salad, Baked Potato and Strip Steak Medium Rare with vegetables.Caesar Salad was good, potato was probably the best part of the entree. The steak was under seasoned and cooked improperly. Vegetables were average freezer veg. Bloody Mary was very good. Overall pricy meal for the quality
Careful when you walk in the front door bird droppings all over the sidewalk and front door area. Very shallow local draft and wine selection. First local draft I chose they were out that left three to choose from. Went with the meatloaf it is a huge chunk just very average flavor, over mashed potatoes which were good the gravy was from a jar nothing special. The roasted asparagus was very tasty. Wait staff did a nice job.
