Our group of four had an amazing meal last evening. The steaks were prepared perfectly, the sides were unique and awesome, and the food service was very quick.

Kanin was amazing! We had such a fantastic time! The food was great. He made fantastic food and drink recommendations, and made sure we were having a good time. It was my first time at Ruhlman’s, and because of Kanin I will definitely come back!

The food here is absolutely top shelf. My wife and I came up for a 4 day weekend from kansas city for our anniversary and tried this place tonight. We were excited when we walked in and when we took our first bites we thought we would be eating here every night. However the service here is reminiscent of McDonald's more than a five star restaurant. We had to order drinks two and three times, never got any refills. I got the wrong sauce on my steak, luckily it was still delicious but not what I ordered. And there was a time when our waitress disappeared for 20 to 30 minutes in the middle of our meal and when she came back she brought our neighboring table the wrong dish and not there wine then the wrong wine, then disappeared again while we waited again for our check for 15 additional minutes. Not the anniversary dinner we had in mind. Even though the food was the best I've had in years I won't be back, be careful.

I have to admit we went here because Round the Bend is closed on Sundays but from now on, it will be our steakhouse of choice! The service is friendly and attentive. Great craft cocktails and the dry aged steaks are better than anything in Omaha. Also loved that there are great non-steak options. The short rib lasagna was creative and absolutely delicious!

Stopped by for brunch today. I had the cobb with black garlic ranch and my husband had the chicken and waffles. Both were very good. I also had a very nice espresso martini with my salad.

OK this place looks right, great ambiance. However the Delmonico Ribeye was garbage. It was cooked correctly and had a nice crust, but it was unbelievably tough. The sirloin we had at Texas roadhouse earlier in the week was exponentially better. I think the cooks did what they could but the meat was tough. I would imagine this was a locally sourced ungraded steer that if graded would have likely been a select grade. The vegetable sides were OK, but the mashed potatoes were great. I would not come back here or recommend anyone eat here, the steak was just way too tough. They are obviously trying to cut corners with the beef and this is the wrong state to try that. Will not return/recommend.

A bummer. I’ve been pretty disappointed during our last couple visits. Undercooked steak, undercooked Brussel sprouts, stale bread, heavy mayo based steak sauces, burnt arancini, ripped and dirty menus, dead bugs on the wall trim. I can’t say for certain my potatoes were instant, but I’ve got my suspicions.

The food was terrible! We had a party of 6 with steaks, brussels sprouts, lamb, and crab rice. One steak was rare when it was supposed to be med rare. One was medium when it was supposed to be med rare. No problem though because it wasn'ttoo far off. But what the heck was the kitchen thinking by drowning the brussels sprouts and rice in red pepper flakes/chili oil? My plate was literally red/orange. Was it supposed to be a joke or something because NOBODY puts that much on vegetables at a steak house. Maybe if this had been a Thai restaurant, we'd have understood. Nobody could eat the sprouts and these are people that enjoy habanero salsa. The server was very nice and the dining area was pretty nice, too. The bathrooms needed attention. Sorry, but this was disappointing. BTW, none of the images on the reviews showed the level of red pepper/chili oil so I'm wondering if it was because we were mostly wearing Michigan shirts right after the Michigan/Nebraska game? If that's the case, that's pathetic.

Place stinks. Owner, servers, cooks don’t know what they are doing. There’s a reason this the lowest rated steakhouse from Omaha to Lincoln. If you are looking for a legitimate steak house who is going to charge same price as this place, make the drive into Omaha every time.

We went here for our 40th wedding anniversary and it was excellent. My wife had the filet mignon which was a little on the small side but cooked and seasoned perfectly. I had the lamb sirloin top which was also cooked and seasoned perfectly. It was actually a little bigger than I expected and I ended up taking some home. Also notable was the brussels sprouts. Again, cooked and seasoned to perfection. Because it was our anniversary, we received a peanut butter pan cookie for dessert. Served in cast iron with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, it was absolutely decadent and we couldn't finish it all. Honestly, one of the best desserts we've had. We'll be going back to Ruhlman's.
