Me and my wife and Dorothy Myers stopped in to have lunch we had the Philly steak sandwich and Dorothy had a hamburger with deep fried onion chips... Basically you cut the onion in a flower type way and then you slice it then you dip them in batter and then you deep fry them and they're really good...
My wife and I stumbled upon this bar while traveling in the area. The sun had gone down and my wife was in need of a restroom. I noticed the sign shining in the night and pulled off the road and into the city of McGrew. The pink palace is truly pink. There were quite a few cars parked around the building for a town that maybe has 100 people so we knew this place must be popular. We entered and grabbed a couple of seats at the bar. Step into this classic high plains bar and grill. Family owned and operated, super-friendly staff, excellent food and squeaky clean. You must try the prime rib Friday nights only. Get there by 6 during hunting season - it fills quickly! A bit of a drive but worth every mile. A must stop when visiting or if you are a local and haven't been you are missing out! Best prime rib in the area!
