A little place with delicious soups and sandwiches. Daily specials are a good bargain. Sandwiches made to order while you wait. The people who run the place are so friendly. A small business that's truly glad for your patronage.

This morning we printed out a coupon on AARP and drove 30 minutes to try this place. We were not impressed and won't be going back. Also won't recommend it. The Ruben had 1 piece of meat in it and it was microwaved to get it hot. The French dip also microwaved and had grisly fatty meat. Then they wouldn't accept the coupon, they said it must have been something that the previous owner had done so they wouldn't honor it. We wanted Cuban sandwiches but they had ran out of pork yesterday and hadn't gotten more yet. ?

I door dashed the italian big mouth, this is the description on their page "Contains ~ Shaved roast beef dunked in au jus with provolone and pickled Italian veggies."The pickled veggies were 99% hot hot peppers, completely enedible with those on there, definitely never ordering again. If they put hot peppers on there, it needs to be advertised as such. Lost my business forever.

I wanted a cool sandwich today all found this awesome place to check out for lunch. The food was great if you want to enjoy a specialty sandwich ?.
Canceled my online order without telling me, lied and said they tried to call me. Poor service...
We walked in ordered and carried out. Our first and last trip. Embarrassingly small sandwiches but large prices. On my list of sandwich shops I used( and I don’t much) this isn’t making a short list. I am disappointed.
Awesome deli sandwiches. Great service, friendly folks.
First time trying sorry wasn’t impressed the bread was to thick for the sandwich I had and the Ruben‘s bread was not toasted and also had mayo on it and Luke warm
My first time trying this place. The club sandwich is pretty good. Way better once I added the lettuce, tomatoes and onions to it. Needed more then the one packet of mayo to make it less dry but overall good. Not a huge fan of the potato salad (too plain for me) and the cookie was a bit on the hard side but good flavor- not burnt! All in all, I'd do a few things differently on my next order but I would order again in the future.

I’ve never left a review…for anything. But I was down in Bellevue and googled “sandwich shop” because I was hoping for something different than Subway. Wow! Delicious sandwich and maybe the best soup I’ve ever eaten… very impressed!
I try to support the local small companies, but the sandwiches here are not good. I ordered the French Dip and philly cheese soup. The bread is store bought and the roast beef is just plain sliced deli meat with only a few thin slices. The soup was just ok. The staff was courteous, but I will not be going back.
Food was great and feel right at home.
Super friendly staff, clean and the food is always great! I do miss the old owner, but the new owner is pleasant as well. I've eaten there many times over the past ten years with no complaints, that's hard to come by in a restaurant!
I've been going to American Heroes fairly regularly for years. My favorite menu items are the BLT on Marble Rye, The Chicken & Bacon Sandwich, and the Italian Combo. Owners Claudia and Jeo are just about two of the nicest, hardest-working people you'll ever meet. I highly recommend American Heroes! Seriously - the Chicken and Bacon sandwich might just be one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life.
