Nice cute little shop with good quality banh mi. Vietnamese ice coffee with less sugar hit all the right spot. Strong and bold. Very good coffee.

Being we are southern CA natives, the food here is quite good! Nice friendly knowledgeable staff and service. Clean diner and restroom.

We've tried 3 different kinds to test the varieties. #1 is a little different than what we have coming from Cali. Pate was a little missing or heavily light. Anyhow, yet very still flavorful and clean. Bought the popular #2 and Pork Belly #12. They were great! Good portion and a lot of pickled veggies than expected. I personally don't mind, but carnivores would rather have a balance. Key is BALANCE. We noticed we did not have any jalapeño in our banh mi. We can go without but having the option would make the perfect banh mi; true home food where we locate authentic home food away from home.♡

Will most likely have it again next time I do fly back to Nebraska.

This was hands down best sandwhich I have ever had. Absolutely delicious. Also the staff was super super nice and helped me pick out a drink I’d like. I’m from Ames and drove to Omaha for the day and I was just stopping by someplace to try some Omaha food and it was so so so good. I’ll be coming back!!

Really great experience. The banh mi’s both pork and beef bogolgi are delicious. Ample filling and pickled vegetables. Wish the bread was a bit more crisp but still good. The place is clean and staff knowledgable and welcoming. The drinks are creative and delicious too. Will be back.

I’m not local, just visiting for work, and decided to try this place twice since it was nearby.

First visit: ordered a Banh Mi—way too salty, and both of my friends agreed.
Second visit: asked for less sauce, but it was still overly salty.

I also ordered the beef stew for $11.99, and honestly, it was disappointing. The portion was tiny for the price—definitely not worth it, even my kid wouldn’t feel full from it. On top of that, I had to wait almost 20 minutes, while people behind me were getting their food much faster.

The boba was okay (better than the food), but nothing special.
Overall, overpriced, salty food, and poor service. Definitely won’t be coming back.

We stopped here on way to Kansas City and were so glad we did. Having had banh mi in LA, Chicago, and Houston, this place holds up compared to other big Việt diaspora communities in terms of their banh mi.

The bread is light and airy, fillings well seasoned and portioned. Iced coffee that raises the dead, the Banh Mi shop is THE Banh Mi shop of Omaha, if not all of Nebraska at the minimum.

Also learning about that the owner started this place while still a junior in college makes the story even better. We will definitely be making this a regular stop.

If you want to save money, pay in cash otherwise the minimum tip is 18%, I really don't understand the reason, I work everyday and never get a single penny on tips.

This place has really gone downhill the last two years. It's still better than other banh mi places in Omaha, I guess.

They're probably short-staffed; it took forever to get our four sandwiches.

The quality's cheapened; they overload it with pickled carrots instead of pate and meats. I've had way better banh mi in MN and KC – loaded with different meats.

That's how this business started when it first opened... but it's really gone downhill.

And the bathroom area? The floor's always wet back there – watch your step!

After having the teriyaki chicken I ended up with food poisoning. I’m sure these things happen. I hope they take this seriously and just be more careful in the future.
Update- they were completely understanding about my situation and very kind. My husband loved the beef bulgogi so I’m sure we’ll be back.

Great ingredients. Very flavorful. Dry stale bread not so much.

Last few times I’ve ordered the chicken curry soup it has been lukewarm. Most recently my soup was extremely sour, when’s it’s not supposed to be sour at all. Drinks have come out sub-par recently as well. My latest chicken curry soup was inedible, but I only found out when I got home. Place has built a good reputation in the community, and when it’s good, it’s good. When it’s bad however, it can’t get much worse than sour curry.
