Varsity Sports Cafe & Roman Coin Pizza

Have been coming here for years. Lately over the last 6 months the quality of the pizza has been deteriorating. Today's pizza was about equal to a Totinos Frozen pizza.Sparse sauce, maybe a 1/4 cup, sparse cheese, maybe another 1/4 cup, meat topping, pathetic, to say the least. After years of eating here, Im sorry to say Im done.

Keri (spelling?) was our waitress last weekend. She was ON it. She didn’t make us feel rushed, she helped us with our order - suggestions to make more sense for our party, refills were fast, she was friendly, quick, and because of her, we truly enjoyed our experience. Our food was good, hot pizza, cheese sticks, tasty chicken teriyaki sandwich. overall, a good experience. Thank you to her!!

Stopped for drinks. Not alot of people and service was slow. Would like ti stop back for pizza sometime though.

Stopped for dinner the other night and sat at the bar where Jessie took exceptional care of us per his normal work ethic. Was enjoyable dinner and drinks as usual from Jessie!!

Absolutely... And I mean Absolutely Best Pizza I've had in Many years. Atmosphere was inviting, staff was warm and approachable, as well as the food! I ordered my pizza and cheese sticks for Carry Out and I was curious about the atmosphere as it hit me like an Inviting letter. I spoke with staff and asked where the pickups were and I was directed to a small area where the aroma of spices and cooked Detroit style pizza was baking. The product was amazing and will be going back!! Thank you!!

After trying the Omaha location we decided to give this one a try. I absolutely love the crust on these pizzas. I ordered the Tommy Girl and it was delicious! I have also had the supreme pizza and loved it and the BLT sandwich is also very good. We will definitely be ordering pizza from here again!

They were very busy with a couple of larger parties and our 8, but we didn't have a good experience at all. Our server clearly had too many tables and she had difficulty keeping up. I can deal with that. What I can't deal with is the food. Everyone who got fries or tots got them at room temperature. Both of the hamburger/patty melt meals we're not just undercooked but actually raw in the middle. The server did offer to remake or replace them but by that time everyone else was finished and in her defense she did rightfully take mine off the bill. It's not her fault they were slammed and short handed in the kitchen, but I probably won't return here anytime soon.

It's a bar n grill. They make the pizzas from scratch. 3/4 the menu is made from scratch. Food is good nothing crazy. And the burgers are a half pound and half price on Thursdays. Not gonna find a better burger deal.

Pizza is legit. The large is huge. It can easily feed 4 adults. We ordered 3, and had leftovers for days. This is a gem of a spot.
