When I was in the other day, I saw a mom working on her computer, with her baby/toddler quietly playing at her feet in one of the corner tables. Mack’s truly has the best small town coffee shop atmosphere. The owner and younger staff are all so friendly and patient while explaining new drinks or waiting for you to decide what to order. I recommend the iced chai (regular or seasonal flavored) and any of their Red Bull creations!”

“We had a Sister Day and started out at the Coffee House. My latte and the blended chi teas that my sisters had were wonderful. The atmosphere and decor were perfect! We were also greeted by several local ladies who welcomed us to Stromsburg. What a great way to start our Sister Day.”

“Went here for the 4th of July 2024. They had a couple blocks shut down so people could light fireworks. Then they had a local guy light off a bunch. Best fireworks show I've seen in a long time!! Better than some professional ones I've gone to!! Definitely recommend Max's bar in Thayer, NE. for fourth of July celebrations. They also serve food and drinks. Had a bunch of free food for the Fourth of July party. Great time in a tiny little town in the middle of nowhere. Great people, good food, good times for anyone looking for a small town bar.

“Little tasting room. The owner was so nice and welcoming. He allowed me to sample his wines at no extra cost, but I did buy bottles of wine from him and also a glass of wine. There was a little shop next door that you could shop while enjoying your wine.”
