I visited Favorite Bar in late September 2018. It was like something out of a movie set for a dive bar. People were friendly and very diverse, drinks are so inexpensive that it seems as if you have hit a time warp and it's 1983. If you are in Chadron and are feeling a bit adventurous, I'd go check it out.
I was pleasantly surprised to find such 5 Star elegance in a small town like Chadron, Nebraska! It is definitely an upper society like establishment but even the commoner can feel welcome, an attribute of the Midwest. The bar is stocked with top flight spirits, the very finest vintage wines brought in from the cellar, and an assortment of well crafted ales and lagers. Many are locally bottled. Found this bar on a trip to So. Dakota. The drinks are great, its inexpensive but the atmosphere and people . . . AMAZING!!! Went in strangers, left with a bunch of great friends!!! If you don't stop in for some fun your life is incomplete!!! ??
