LOVE Paper Moon. Of all the places that I promote via word-of-mouth, this one definitely "takes the cake" (pun intended.) The pastries are made to perfection with lots of gluten and dairy free options. I'm usually hesitant on GF/DF, but wow does Paper Moon pull it off! (Try the coffee cake. You'll have yourself thinking, "I can't believe it's not butter!") There are always creative, new flavors each week and of course some fan-favorite usuals. There's so much more to say about the pastries but you'll have to try it for yourself. 😇 Ok...I have to give the kolaches its own paragraph. As a Nebraska native, I've had me a lot of kolaches. But Paper Moon's kolaches are SPOT ON. Soft and moist dough. A hearty serving of filling. Not to mention, there are creative and unique flavors each week...even savory ones. YUM! Each bite of a Paper Moon kolache has me thinking, "this is how a kolache is supposed to be." You'll find yourself back in time as you walk through the doors into the 30's...so cool! Last but certainly not least, Lindsey (the owner) and the staff are always bright, cheery, and such a pleasure. They give Paper Moon that homey, inviting feel that brings us Nebraskans back to our small town roots. Full disclosure: get to know your neighbors in line. There's a reason there is a wait and space is limited...because it is a gem that attracts people from all around. But don't you worry, they're a well oiled machine. Paper Moon is well worth the wait! ☺️

LOVE Paper Moon. There are few places that get a "shut up and take my money", but this is definitely one of them!

The pastries are unique and made to perfection and the kolaches are SPOT ON (soft and moist dough with a hearty serving of filling - a rarity since most people can't seem to get this right). There's so much more to say about the pastries but not enough space here.

The environment has a cute little 30's vibe and such a gem that attracts people from all around. Last but certainly not least, Lindsey (the owner) and the staff are always bright and cheery and a pleasure to interact with.

Full disclosure: get to know your neighbors in line. There's a reason there is a wait and space is limited...because it is a gem well worth it.

Paper Moon is by far my favorite place to get a sweet treat. Their kolaches are the best around and worth the drive and the long line (if you don't catch them at the perfect time). Their staff is incredibly friendly despite being so busy. The only downfall is they're only open Saturdays (although my husband and wallet appreciate that.)

Kolaches...best I have ever eaten
Cinnamon rolls that are as soft and tender on the outside as the inside.....words do no justice to just how outstanding the food is here at this little bakery.

The Banana Bread Brownies are awesome! I didn't even know they were dairy/gluten-free until I read it after the fact! I highly recommend Paper Moon!

This is an AMAZING little small-town bakery with super friendly staff and AWESOME treats! They have SO MANY gluten free options, which I especially love since I have a family member who can't consume gluten. I cannot recommend this place enough! Totally worth the drive!

When we went, there was a line down the street to get in. The baked goods are incredible. The place is small, and they regularly sell out. So get there early.

However, the prices are to be steep, with a slice of cake costing approximately $4 USD). Others have echoed this sentiment that were stand around and stated the prices "expensive" but acknowledging the quality of the cakes.

If you're interested in learning more about Paper Moon Pastry's offerings, they have a menu that rotates weekly, featuring treats like cookies, pastries, and cakes . They also offer dairy-free and gluten-friendly options, which is a plus for those with dietary restrictions.

*Menu Highlights:*

- _Original Mille Crepe_: A signature cake made with paper-thin crepes and pastry cream
- _Cookies_: Varieties include Monster (peanut butter), Chocolate Chip, and Oatmeal Raisin
- _Pastries_: Seasonal pies, brown butter rice krispies, and flourless chocolate torte

Overall, Paper Moon Pastry seems to be a popular spot for those with a sweet tooth, but be prepared for higher prices.
