“Wow! We stopped by while in the area and it did not disappoint. The pecan rolls were perfect, just the right amount of sweet. The apple pie cupcake was moist and delicious. There was a small line going outside the door but the team is fast and efficient. Had our pastries in no time. Will definitely go back!”

Homestead Bakery and Cafe in Firth Nebraska is well worth the drive from Lincoln. Oreo Cheesecake and Pecan Caramel rolls( homemade everything), Tacos with chips and Queso Cheese dip, and Pastrami with smoked hamburger sandwich; and Chicken Tortilla soup with chips.(sorry I ate that too fast). Last but not least. Superb service. Feels like family. I recommend all menu items. Each visit we tried new ones and were never disappointed.Wheelchair accessibility: Enough”

“I was hesitant to try this restaurant, after dining here, I was very glad we made the choice to dine here.Service was Top Notch, Food was absolutely great authentic Mexican. I am from Denver and grew up eating Alot of Mexican food in friends homes. Food here took me back to those great times.Thank you, Hacienda Jalisco for Great Food, Great Family atmosphere. We have a new favorite Mexican restaurant that is closer than lincoln.”

“We live in Omaha and our son had a football game at Norris HS this Sunday. We dropped him off for warm ups and needed some food and coffee. We made the 4 mile drive to New Day and we were super impressed. The coffee was good and the sandwiches hit the spot. To make it even better, we had a great place to stretch our legs and let our kids enjoy fresh air after the longer drive from Omaha. Our one year old gets sick of his car seat and he was able to move around while we enjoyed our coffee and food. We will def come back. Service was warm and welcoming too.We ordered 2 iced Americano’s 2 croissant sandwiches, parfait yogurt, and donut holes. All were delicious. Beautiful patio. Thank you!”

“An evening out with friends Saturday. We ventured and found Hallam Steakhouse, we did not call ahead to reserve a table, however, a short wait with drinks at the bar and very friendly and funny bartender! The wait for a table was minimal, less than 20 minutes, and a couple of hostess announced celebrations that included the whole steakhouse crowd to join in singing Happy Birthday and a round of applause for another couple celebrating their 67th wedding anniversary! The interactive friendly staff was fun and kept the mood light amongst all patrons! Classic cheese balls appetizer with ranch and marinara! 12 and 16 oz Ribeye Steaks with mushrooms, chicken fried steak and grilled chicken with bacon were out table choices! Including a trip to the salad bar with potato salad, pea salad, pickled beets, and all the salad toppings! The GOOD HOMEMADE ranch! Our waitress team kept our drinks full and brought ice water promptly, checking on our table often with a smile! The staff took the time to listen and we could tell the waitresses, bartended and hostess/manager enjoy their work and wanted to be there! We will be back for another adventure! Thank you Hallam Steakhouse for a small town welcoming dinner and drinks evening with friends!”

“By far the best little town bar and grill on the map!!! Food is spectacular, beer is cold, gin and tonics are spot on. Very accommodating to large parties while still maintaining other guests. Will definitely dine there again in the future”

“This is quality! And the service is great he listens to specifics and didn’t forget a thing, which I appreciate - especially when he was handling the lunch rush. Offered extra sauces, utensils etc. Hot food, nice mild spice (general sour chicken) in my opinion.I see a lot of bad reviews based on their inconsistent closing times but I’ll defend that this is probably on account of their prepared food running out, I’ve worked at small places like this and it’s easier for me to be understanding of the nature of this. I do recall seeing new signs posted warning of this.”

“Stopped in for some snacks and a couple of drinks before a wedding. Was busy, but service was prompt and accurate, as well as friendly. Food was delicious and cooked to order, no heat lamps. I definitely recommend it if you are in the area!”

“Theres 2 sides to a story. This reveiw joshua dickenson has posted really upsets me. He came in to pick up an ONLINE order and said he was over charged and didnt receieve 1 sandwhich for free. I apologized and said we havw no control over the subway app and pay. We receive the order 3rd party. He was upset and yelling at me as i finished his sandwhiches because he was early to come pick up. He then demanded me to give him free cookies for his military discount and since he was overcharged by the app that i have no control over. I put the side of apple sauce in the bag amd the kids white milk on the counter. He then yelled at me again saying i will be giving you a bad review trisha and purposely forgets the milk on the counter. I also had another customer in my shop standing there in disbelief of what happened. I can only control what happens in store. I never rang in his order to begin with. I work really hard in my store. I would never say no to a 10% military discount. He did not want to purchase the cookies. He wanted them for free.”
