I had a fantastic experience at Studio 6 Bistro in Cozad! Traveling cross country and saw this place pop up as a food option and decided to give it a try - very glad I did. I had the pear salad with steak and French fries. Everything was delicious. Fresh and satisfying. Awesome little hidden gem of place. Definitely worth getting off the highway for a stop!

I was super excited to try the burger but they were out of patties, no biggy so I got the tri tip sandwich. I can say with zero doubt in my mind I've never been so blown away by a sandwich. So perfectly tender and the sauce is a perfect touch. Again, I don't rave about much, steak and potato's guy, this thing this was amazing.

I was not able to dine here on November 21, even though OpenTable said I did. I am also not able to dine here on December 23. I made reservations through OpenTable both times and was able to make said reservations. On November 21, I was called that day to say the restaurant was closed for a private event and our party of 6 could not dine there. I just called to change my party number for my reservation on December 23 and was just told they were closed that week. Nothing was posted on their website or social media about either closure. Call before you go to make sure your experience/event won't be ruined by the closure of the restaurant. Both times we were celebrating someone's birthday. I won't be going back, as although they are nice people and the food is good, nothing is worse than a last minute cancellation or closure. Yes, it's a small town in rural Nebraska, but be better and do better! And at least turn off your OpenTable reservation availability for days you will be closed.
