It felt like we had gne back 30 years. Mother's day and the place was humming. A long wait because of the day but the food was great; the wait staff was friendly and apologetic for the amount of time it took, and the owners were right there. No one was annoyed or belligerent about delays; the staff was pleasant, and the crowd interacted with those around them. The next time it's brisket and ribs.
We went right around the time they opened and apparently there was a server who didn’t show up and everyone else seemed really confused and not sure how to serve. My gramma wasn’t impressed by the service and lack of knowledge from the bartender about the regular menu. I’d come again if they were fully staffed.
Ordered ribs, was told those don't get served till this evening (yet, was given a menu with all items listed and there were certain items on menu listed as being only available on Saturday). Then ordered cheesy postatoes....again not available till this evening. So why not list that on the menu as well. It was quite disappointing. Ordered the brisket and pulled pork with fries and beans. The food was decent. The beans were lukewarm. The original sauce was thick...
