Matt Ellis is the best; cook, bartender and server. He even washes the dishes! Go Matt go!
The "Meatbread" is amazing! Absolutely stands up to anything you would find in a Chicago pizzeria.

CJs is a great place to meet your friends or to make new friends! Friendly people who like to have fun. Great music out on the beer garden during most summer weekends. They have bragging rights rib cook off coming up 21 Sept. very tasty ribs and ya’ll can be the judge of that. Your opinion matters!

Their prime rib is the best! Burgers and pizzas are also something to look forward to. Friendly staff and beautiful location. Keep up the great work!

I have been going to CJs at the lake for years. Tonight I was super disappointed when my family and I came in. We ordered. My boyfriend got his burger that was still completely red inside. They remade the burger and the waitress HANDED it to him right when he came out of the bathroom instead of bringing it to our table. My son wanted to play a game of pool so we were playing and no refills were asked so I brought my cup up to front and the waitress told me my total. I said I came up for a refill. My son ordered mini corn dogs and half of them were burnt so he didn’t eat them. Wouldn’t be a big deal but $7 for a kids meal you think it would be somewhat ok. Not the best service I’ve had out here. Won’t be going back for a long time.
Hamburger was overcooked and buns edges were burnt.

Prices are outrageous for their off-sale liquor. Paid $72 and change for 2 twelve packs of seltzer and 2 large bags of ice. When the transaction showed up on my statement, they went ahead and rounded it up to $80, adding their own unauthorized tip. SKIP this place and just drive a couple miles further to the Shop E-Z in south Yankton.
