Alto has some of the best food in town. The atmosphere is amazing and their staff is very nice and fast. Highly recommend Alto.

We went to Alto Pizza and left pretty disappointed, especially for the price. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs, My husband got the chicken Marsala, and we shared an order of cheesy garlic bread. All together, the total came out to over $70, which set expectations fairly high. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to that price point. Everything was extremely salty — to the point where I’m not sure if I ordered dinner or a salt lick with a can of Ragu poured over it. At one point I genuinely wondered if I needed to schedule a cardiologist appointment afterward. The sauce tasted like low-quality canned sauce, the pasta was overcooked, and much of the food felt frozen and reheated too quickly, giving it a rubbery texture. The cheesy garlic bread was especially disappointing. It didn’t taste like garlic at all — just bland bread with cheese — which was surprising given how salty everything else was. I do want to very clearly praise our waitress, who was also acting as the hostess and the only server at the time. She was wonderful, attentive, and incredibly on top of things considering she was handling the entire front of house by herself. She did an impressive job, and none of our disappointment reflects on her. Overall, the service was great, but the food quality and flavor balance didn’t justify the cost. With better seasoning control, ingredients, and preparation, this place could be much better — but as it stands, it missed the mark.

Our waiter was Caleb. He was such a nice, encouraging guy. He is great at serving. We really appreciated him. Overall great experience! Will come back

Taylor... what a wonderful server!!! Very attentive, water was always filled, and she came by multiple times to see if everything was okay, or if we needed anything else, and the food was amazing! I had the Cavatelli; it's not on the list for recommendations, but I would recommend it! Got to give some credit for the cook too; everything looked and tasted wonderful. We were all able to bring home half of our food for another meal, I would recommend this place!!! Worth the trip no matter where you live 😀

Always a great stop for us, the simple wine list is well curated, the farm to table handmade food is next level for Fremont. Care and detail with every dish. Staff is prompt and courteous. Food is AMAZING.

The food here is right up there with some of the best places we have been to and is well conceptualized, fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. We love the cocktails, too, and the chef and his team are wonderful. If you find yourself in Fremont, Alto is a must.

Ate here for the first time, and WOW. Food is EXCELLENT. My husband is a chicken parm connoisseur, and he said hands down the best ever. My chicken alfredo was delish, and appreciate that they offer a quality gluten free pasta. We barely talked thru our meal because the food was SO good!

Ate here for the first time, and WOW. Food is EXCELLENT. My husband is a chicken parm connoisseur, and he said hands down the best ever. My chicken alfredo was delish, and appreciate that they offer a quality gluten free pasta. We barely talked thru our meal because the food was SO good!
