On a Friday evening at 6:30pm my wife and I decided to eat this location. We walked in a waited to be seated for a few minutes. Standing there we seen what guest were seated and noticeably each table sat, there was nobody eating or with food in front of them. That’s when an aggravated and frantic host told us (without greeting us) we would not be seated for another 50 minutes. Also mentioning that the “ kitchen is slammed and we couldn’t handle seating another table.” Several empty tables were available. More empty tables than full. The host is the first interaction you would normally have entering an establishment like Applebees. The face of the place. That interaction is what gave us the clue that we should probably not dine in here. If a kitchen/front house such as Applebees can’t handle a small rush, it’s a good indicator that the food and service is not good. Of course we went elsewhere and probably spent less than what we had intended to spend on food and drinks at Applebees. Thankfully this community has better options to dine in at with outstanding, welcoming friendly service.
