super cute and pretty ambience. really, it’s all on theme and the vibe is just great. the server was really sweet and attentive. all the staff, really. it might help that we were the only one’s in the diner. my dad and brother got the dick’s breakfast (??? i believe that’s the name) and they loved it. my other brother got omelette and he also liked it. i got the philly cheesesteak and it was also good but the absolute best part was the fries. my brother also got a strawberry milkshake and it was super good bc it tasted like actual strawberry. i don’t know, i just have a minor pet peeve against that artificial strawberry syrup that doesn’t taste like actual strawberries. this place does so bonus points!! would 10000% recommend. we just don’t live in freemont, or else i’d eat there regularly. some things to note!!! they don’t take cash bigger than a 20 and the menu is on a qr code

my family and i were looking for a place to grab a bite to eat and we found penny’s diner. it’s an adorable 50’s themed restaurant from the booths, flooring, wall decor and music. it made an amazing atmosphere to enjoy our food, which was so delicious as well. fresh fries along with perfected packed burgers. we didn’t try it this time but the shakes and sundaes they offered looked and sounded wonderful. to sum it up we will be returning to this diner and telling other friends and family about it as well

Food was ok. Burger was a bit overdone for my liking. Waitress was the cook as well. Went around 2030.

What a great place to have run into! Annette our server was top notch with service and communicating with customers of all ages. Our food was awesome and prices are great. Good atmosphere and love the decor. Highly recommend 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 we will be visiting again soon. As far as the negative reviews, picky people try to ruin establishments for DUMB reasons! Dont let them fool you!

Place needs new owners, very understaffed and a bit run down. No menus, just scan with your phone-annoying especially for a '50s themed joint. Would have gave one star if it weren't for the cowboy burger the waitress/hostess/cashier/cook brought me and my wife. It was amazing, the butter crisped bun was heaven. Milk shake was milk with ice cream, their mixer apparently doesn't work very well and I had to do the mixing-very meh. No bacon and half their burgers it seems have bacon, kind of a bummer there. Decent lunch, with motivated owners and more staff this place could be fantastic.

Stopped in for coffee and warm dessert on cold winter night. Margery was so accommodating and the place was spotless. Enjoyed ourselves!
