we made the drive in December from NP and were happy that they had a small menu of items from the NP location when we went back in January there was no items available from NP so if you are hoping for BBQ best not make the.drive. we are so not impressed with our 2nd visit there, North Plattes restaurant was way better in menu and service and quality of food.

If you want a wimpy sandwich for $16.00 and to be swarmed by flies while eating it and watching the flies dining on the sad salad bar then this is the place for you. I should have noticed that we were the only ppl having lunch ! Red Flag!
I asked for a fly swatter so we could finish lunch but was told they didn’t have one. As we were hurriedly finishing the waitress said we could move to the group dining room “ because there aren’t flies in there”.

I don’t even know where to begin with this place. I was in a crunch for some food, but I couldn’t leave my dog alone. Thankfully I found this place where they have a patio I could bring my fur child to. I was promptly greeted with water bowls, and hamburger patties for earl from the best waitress Annie. On top of that, probably best steak I’ve had in a very long time. It was cooked to perfection. Whether you’re passing through, or staying for a while, it would be unwise to not stop here. I don’t typically give reviews unless a place like this has blown my mind. This is one of those times. Also their salad bar is top notch. I could almost bet they pick the lettuce fresh from the garden. They do an excellent job at representing the name, because when I was there, life was good.

Food was very good. I had the Sweedburger and my wife the Rueben. The patty on my burger was quite large. However, first impressions are quite important and two things greeted us soon after being seated were the filthy menus and the crack down the middle of the table was filled with old food. Made me wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen.

Very disappointed.. ordered the crab cake appetizer which we never received. Was told the salmon was really good.. it came out after 30 min with a very tiny thin piece of salmon for $25 that was way way overcooked, the broccolini was not even a little warm.. ice cold.. not happy
