We are on I-80 at least every couple of months and always try to stop at this location. Food is always good, but we choose this spot hoping to see Amber working there. She is always so bright and cheery and is especially wonderful to our kids. What an absolute asset to the restaurant!

LONG WAIT but courteous service. When the food came out it wasn't as ordered. Cheese runza didn't have cheese on it, mandarin oranges on kids meal came w/o a spoon or soft drink cup. They were training a new employee (we understand), and it was very busy with long line.

They were out of Runza...the burgers were good but wouldn't expect a restaurant to be out of their namesake.

Oh Nebraska - I know you guys love your Runza. We had eaten at one a couple of years ago and it was decent; so, we stopped this time passing through as my husband liked their ice cream sandwiches. Lone and behold they don't sell them anymore. This is very mediocre food, didn't have much flavor besides mustard.

It was our first time at a Runzas. It was delicious. The woman who took our order was so sweet.

Don’t hate me, Nebraska, but Runza is not winning any contests when it comes to regional food specialties. The Runza bread was pretty blah and the fries and onion rings that make up the rings were mediocre. The weirdest part? Our shake was room temperature but yet still shake consistency. Pretty sure that means it’s not an actual “milk” shake. If you’ve never had a runza, you owe yourself to at least try the local specialty, but don’t get your hopes up.

We really enjoyed experiencing a local NE fast food chain on our road trip through the state! Great food and cool history! Will definitely be stopping again when we're back in NE!
