I don't know anything about the bakery. This review is for La Mexicana restaurant in about the same spot. In ascending order: The entre was very good. The chips were excellent. The "salsa for chips" was special. The salsa verde was AMAZING. The atmosphere is festive. There was a surprising number of couples having dinner, of all ages, despite the atmosphere being a very cheery hole-in-the-wall. I can't remember the last time that I had a meal out this memorably good.

Some of the best Mexican food in town. Been coming here since I was a kid. The food never disappoints always hot and delicious. They got the best al pastor meat in Grand island and I've tried plenty of other places here in town and none of them compare.
