The double cheeseburger is my favorite, juicy and delicious. They have a senior discount but you have to ask which is helpful. Since it is a local restaurant chain I trust their hamburger there much more than Wendy's McDonald's etc. the Swiss mushroom runza is also one of my favorites. Staff is always friendly and efficient.

Their 75 cent burger deal on Tuesday’s comes with a catch.. Expensive and the food quality has really gone down. The female “manager” shutting the window and purposely looking away after I asked why, when we were waiting for a correction on another item, sealed the deal for this well earned one star review! Deceptive! Just say, on Tuesdays our $12 burger meal is $8 but you’re still going to get what should be a dollar menu burger, old burnt fries, and non carbonated soda. If you’re going to rep Nebraska you better step up your game.
This particular Runza in York, NE had the best mushroom and swiss Runzas I've ever tasted! Got 2 more to go to take back to Missouri with us for lunch the next day!! Thank you so much.
Had the best, most incredibly juicy smothered chicken sandwiches.. so delicious! Amazing, fresh, and delicious double cheeseburger as well! Great customer service!

Worst food ever! I ordered take out, went across the street to eat & both buns on sandwiches were completely soaked in grease, soggy, so much grease that they both leaked through... even the bag was soaked & tearing on the bottom. I went back & asked to have them remade. The manager actually got upset & through a fit that I wanted them to be redone. As she was walking away, throwing hands up & making some comment (couldn't hear as window shut by then). When she returned & basically threw food out window, I had asked her name. I was told it didn't matter, she was the general manager. I stated I still wanted her name as she had been completely rude. She said I was rude... guess a completely grease soaked bun is how things are done there & you are a rude customer if you want something of better quality for the money I spent. Anyway, she slammed window on me as I was saying my chicken had no cheese on it. I was like whatever, will get in touch with someone tomorrow. I tried getting someone's attention to ask for a plate, knife & fork... to eat my remade, soggy, made wrong sandwich with but manager wouldn't let anyone go to window. I eventually knocked on window, after a few times honking my horn... even trying to motion I want a fork & knife to eat food with but she stood there staring & used phone to I guess call cops. Do not go to Runza on Locust if want good food & a friendly person. This restaurant isn't worth the one star required to give.
