Take a small step back in time to the Vintage Cafe scenery. Quiet Pleasant atmosphere. Plenty of room for all sizes of parties. Great Value food, just as good as homemade if not better. Wonderful desserts. Kind employees. Well-priced.

We stopped here on vacation. While the interior was a tad dingy, the food was delicious and the service great! The diverse menu makes feeding picky kids a breeze. And the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Arrived near closing and they were more than gracious. The fried chicken was amazing. Very few folks can keep a breast moist in a fryer. They managed.

If you enjoy old style diner atmosphere, then this is your place. This is the jewel of Grand Island NE. We had a party of 12 and was seated right away. Our waiter, Bill was the perfect amount of hospitable and sarcastic. Not to mention fast and attentive. He didn't miss a beat. My only regret was not having breakfast here but that will change upon my next visit. I had the absolutely delicious buffalo burger and peanut butter chocolate pie. If you go for anything, it's the pie. Positively delectable.

Down home food and atmosphere. I will be there again

Beware. Stopped on our way to Colorado. Place seemed busy but we got a table right away. Waited ten minutes to be acknowledged and ten more before order was taken. Server did not introduce herself or apologize. We saw only one server for entire place. Manager hustling around serving. Food was ordinary diner type food, nothing special. Coffee quickly set in front of and sloshed everywhere. By the time we got ready to leave, other help had arrived.

I love Tommy's, I'll never not love Tommy's. The cream cheese stuffed French toast is life. This is my favorite hometown place to eat.
