I had a friend come up from Texas, and we both wanted italian, so I told her about basil's. We got there right at 11:00 when they were opening and that is the perfect time to go! Nice and quiet great atmosphere. For the food, she had the crispy chicken sandwich and added provolone. I had the penne vodka and added grilled chicken. Stopped into Basil's Italian with my family for dinner. The service was really good and our waiter was so friendly the whole time. The Italian beef wasn't my favorite and I probably wouldn't order it again. The pizza in the buffet was okay, but the pasta was kind of disappointing. Overall it wasn't terrible, just a little hit or miss food-wise.
The food is decent depending on what you order. The BBQ chicken pizza was my favorite that we tried. Some of the order was incorrect but the waitress was really nice and fixed it for us. The kids Alfredo had way too much black pepper. It was inedible even for me. The ice cream was alright. I really enjoyed the milkshake. This place is good for families - not too overwhelming for kids but not so fancy that kids can’t be a little noisy.
