“First of all the donuts are incredible! The cake’s they made for my son’s 1st birthday were amazing. They tasted even better than they looked! Working with them was super easy and they were very flexible when we had to change the party date last minute. We will definitely be going back for all future cake and donut orders!! We gave them an idea of what we were wanting and the party theme and they came up with some really cool cakes!“

“This is hands down my absolute favorite donut place in Omaha! Seriously, there are other donut places that are good, but trust me, nothing compares to this gem. I'm almost positive they're open 24/7 because I've never seen them close shop. Now, let me tell you about their cake donuts. Oh boy, they're just heavenly! Their crullers and Bavarian cream filled donuts? Absolutely mind-blowing! You've got to try them, my friend. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.“

“We love Sunrize Donuts! Their Apple Fritters and blueberry cake donuts are my personal faves. Their staff is so friendly! Thankful to support local small businesses like this who work hard, connect with their customers, and provide a great product at a fair price!“

“THAT was good! ??I hadn’t been to Hurts Donut before and am glad I went. What a great little spot! Great atmosphere for the kids… A sign warns that solicitors and troublemakers will be glazed and sprinkled ?Left with more donuts than I had planned on, but I’m sure you will too!“

“Very expensive, but great pastries, clean place, the Gen Manager waited on us and went way out of his way to get the filling we wanted in a long John. The servings are definitely larger than most Donut Shops which helps justify the price. Great tasting pastries obviously quality ingredients so I guess you get what you pay for. Will definitely go back.“

“It's been around since maybe 2009. New owners in 2015 and they changed brands from Sunrize Donuts to Donut Run in 2017. The primary owner/operator, Janet, passed away in 2023, but they are still open. Donuts have remained much the same over the changes and staff turnover has been low.Good donuts. I especially like their jumbo Apple Fritters. Also, anything with icing and sprinkles is magical. Glazed Donut + Icing + Sprinkles = Happiness. They seem to be on the fence as to whether they have a indoor dining or not. They used to have a decent-sized seating area, but removed it during the pandemic and waited longer than most of their industry to bring it back. So, they once again have a seating area, but with what feels like fewer tables than before. They're the only donut shop in Gretna (outside of meager gas station selections), so they have a captive audience. I'm not sure if they'd handle a Dunkin', Winchell's, or Krispy Kreme coming to town.4% surcharge if paying with a card. I don't know why restaurants don't just build this into their pricing. Lots of small businesses have to deal with credit card fees, but why is it only eateries that make it a line item for the customer to pay?“
