I had the burnt ends which, per Yelp, are supposed to be their best item. Very unremarkable. No great flavor and fatty. A small portion. The hot sauce was also a big nothing. The cole slaw was vinegar-based, but tasteless. Not many non-fast food restaurants in Gretna (at this time) and without much competition I suppose it will survive. But not worth the drive from Omaha. Because BBQ is relatively expensive, I have high standards and this place didn't meet them.

Honestly food is whatever, nothing to write home about and not mind blowing by any means, I could of looked past that if they would of made up for it with their customer service, however any time I go to this establishment I am treated so poorly for no reason at all. The staff is incredibly rude and condescending, they act like their restaurant is better than any other when their food is sub par at best. You can ask a simple question and they look at you and answer as if you are stupid for even asking. I love supporting local establishments and giving people the benefit of the doubt, but I have yet to have a positive experience here after multiple attempts. I will never visit this establishment again and highly suggest those that want to check it out, to just save the time and money, you aren't missing much.

Stopped for lunch. I had the burnt ends and a cornbread muffin. Being from Kansas City I am very critical of BBQ elsewhere. For a good price the burnt ends were very good quality and taste. Service at the counter was great but the meat was cold when they came to the table. The cornbread was very good as well. Overall standard BBQ place.

Stopped on my way through Gretna. The establishment is clean and neat. I ordered the burnt ends. The food was okay for the only BBQ place in town. The customer service could have been better but the NE Volleyball game was on the TV so I understand why the employees were preoccupied.
Save your money unless you like dry overpriced brisket and sausage links.. Decent side portions then typical bbq restaurants. Not a good experience when you immediately have to use the restroom after eating.... would not recommend.

We were fairly disappointed with our meal there. The sliced brisket was sliced extremely thin, more like from a deli than a barbecue place. It was very dense and absolutely tasteless. Their excellent hot barbecue sauce helped but the brisket still wasn't worth eating. The burnt ends were very good and tasty. The sausage was ok, nothing special just an extremely mild summer sausage. The potato salad was made with lots and lots of mayonnaise not mustard. Probably our fault for not asking but we are always used to potato salad being mustard not mayo. I really wish the brisket had been like the burnt ends.

Unfortunately, my group stopped in at 6pm when they were closing at 7pm. They were sold out of some BBQ and I ordered and received the last of the ribs. Service was spotty and dropped the baskets next to me while busing.
