“I live in Lincoln after showing houses in the Hickman area a few months back I decided to order pizza and pick it up before heading back to Lincoln. The food is just amazing, hot and the staff is so friendly. I know all Godfathers have the same menu but Hickman makes way better pizza then any of The Godfather’s in Lincoln. I now drive to Hickman for my pizza.”

“Theres 2 sides to a story. This reveiw joshua dickenson has posted really upsets me. He came in to pick up an ONLINE order and said he was over charged and didnt receieve 1 sandwhich for free. I apologized and said we havw no control over the subway app and pay. We receive the order 3rd party. He was upset and yelling at me as i finished his sandwhiches because he was early to come pick up. He then demanded me to give him free cookies for his military discount and since he was overcharged by the app that i have no control over. I put the side of apple sauce in the bag amd the kids white milk on the counter. He then yelled at me again saying i will be giving you a bad review trisha and purposely forgets the milk on the counter. I also had another customer in my shop standing there in disbelief of what happened. I can only control what happens in store. I never rang in his order to begin with. I work really hard in my store. I would never say no to a 10% military discount. He did not want to purchase the cookies. He wanted them for free.”

Maybe need a few more table, but I still give 5 stars on atmosphere since at least they did not cramp the place with so many tables, and the place is clean and bright.”

“I'm not a coffee snob, I usually buy the cheapest store brands and then have to add so much it really isn't coffee. I decided to buy some ground coffee from TCS and was I ever surprised. It is wonderful. I could tell the difference immediately. I just had to add a tablespoon of cream and nothing else. Drinking this coffee is a treat.”

“This place was amazing and the food was great. Only problem was they were very busy and our waiter only checked in on us one time. So my husband didn't get his drink refilled.”

“I phoned a week before the date we wanted to make reservation. Trevor was very nice and said I could reserve a long table for up to 15 guests. I verified number of guests and called a couple days before arriving on the 24th to confirm the number attending. We were very impressed with Trevor and the quality of food was outstanding.. I had the beer macaroni and cheese and loved it. A couple people had Rueben's and were equally impressed. Burgers and chicken strips were large. I was impressed with nice side salad. The salmon was beautifully plated too. Highly recommend coming to the Mettle Grill. You will not be disappointed The only downside was the chairs were very heavy and if you put gliders on chair legs it would make it easier for an older group to move the chairs. Trevor was very pleasant and efficient. Will definitely return.”

Update as of 12/26/2025
Still in love with this place. Went there to do my grandmas birthday tonight around 5pm and they were so busy but you could tell they were doing the best they could with the amount of business that was coming in.
Ended up placing a Togo order after we ate because wanted to take some home and they said it would be a wait which I completely understood they even had signs up saying things will take a little longer with the holidays being one of the busiest times. The sweet lady working behind the counter was doing amazing and doing the best she could with all the orders they had coming in. You could tell some people were getting upset about the wait but they had 3 different signs up letting people know it would be so i don’t get why people were being so rude to them cause they were getting Togo orders, dine in and a ton of DoorDash and I think they did amazing no matter what the wait was.
I would recommend this place all the time and it is definitely worth the wait. Remember holidays are a busy time during and after they are over. If they forget something with your order and you comeback they will make it up to you.”

“I found myself in Lincoln Nebraska at the end of a long day recently. I was parked on the side of the street and looked around to see where I could eat before a 3 hour drive to my next destination when I saw Honest Abe's burgers just across the street from where I was parked. Of COURSE I had to go try it and I was not disappointed. My burger and fries were fresh and delicious and the ladies working there were friendly. The signs, artwork, and general decor were fun - especially to me!”

“We hadn’t been to Stauffer’s since before Covid. A friend told me the Honest Abe’s had boughten it so we decided to try it for lunch yesterday and everything was delicious! The rolls and biscuits were homemade. I had turkey dinner and it was real roast turkey, not deli meat. We had pie, too, and it was so good. The server was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be eating there often!”

“Went to lunch with my family and some friends on a Sunday afternoon. Manager was quick to accommodate our group as there were only smaller tables available at the time. He and his staff were very friendly with us, the food was great, and I would recommend this place to anyone. It's great to have a place with Keno that is stylish, comfortable atmosphere (for all members of the family) with a very friendly staff to visit on a regular basis. We will be regulars here soon.”
