I drive across Nebraska more frequently than I'd like to, and Kitt's is the only stop I make. The lemon bars make the whole trip worth it. Great spot, worth getting off the highway for every time.

I have never felt so ripped off for a breakfast sandwich in my life. I was up-charged for 2 eggs when I didn’t ask for 2 eggs nor did they ask me if I wanted that upgrade. The menu should specify that protein costs extra- it should be assumed that a breakfast sandwich comes with protein. I paid $50 for 2 breakfast sandwiches and 2 coffees in a small town in Nebraska. These are city prices, and I felt we were taken advantage of perhaps because we weren’t regulars. The sandwiches were pretty good, but the experience ruined that for me.

Next Level Kitchen isn't just a name; it's a declaration—a bold promise meticulously delivered upon from the moment you step through its doors. The intricately designed logo serves as a visual prelude to the culinary artistry within, immediately signaling that this is no ordinary eatery but a vibrant nexus of innovation and dedication in the heart of Kearney. The palpable energy of the place, the buzz of conversation mingling with the clatter of culinary creation, marks it unmistakably as a hotspot—a destination where experiences are crafted with as much care as the dishes themselves.
Even amidst the bustling atmosphere, the staff shines as beacons of hospitality. Each interaction, from the cashier's radiant smile to the media manager's hands-on dedication, underscores a commitment to excellence that permeates every aspect of the establishment. The media manager, in particular, embodies this ethos—personally delivering orders with an uncanny memory for names, and passionately detailing his contributions to the aesthetic, from the artful menus to the surprisingly durable stickers. This level of engagement transcends mere customer service; it's an invitation into the heart of Next Level Kitchen's creative soul.
The culinary offerings are nothing short of revelatory. The bagel, a canvas for fresh, vibrant ingredients, is elevated to new heights by the basil jam—a stroke of genius that marries sweet and savory in perfect harmony. The cheese eggs, adorned with a delicate array of fresh fruit, further exemplify this playful yet sophisticated approach to flavor. While the wait times may test one's patience, the experience is ultimately a testament to the kitchen's unwavering dedication to quality. The only minor misstep, perhaps, is the comeback sauce, which, for those less inclined towards mayonnaise, may fall short of the high bar set by the rest of the menu. Yet, this is but a fleeting shadow in the face of the overall brilliance. The drinks, too, deserve high praise, with the blueberry lemonade and tea offering a delightful counterpoint of sweet boldness and herbal subtlety. Next Level Kitchen isn't just a meal; it's an immersive experience—a testament to the power of passion, dedication, and culinary artistry. I eagerly anticipate my return, as well as thank you the owners and staff dearly.

Passing Through

Very disappointing. We have travelled through NE often to visit family in CO. This was the first time trying Kitts Kitchen. Found it expensive for what you get. Advertised as a bakery, I would expect the scramble to come with toast, a biscuit or some other bread or potato but does not. The fruit it does come with is more of a garnish, one strawberry, one raspberry and 3 blueberries. You basically order and then service yourself, meaning you get your own silverware, water, utensils, napkins and condiments. You also clean up after yourself. If I would have known, I would not have tipped when I ordered. Their bakery display was pretty empty, only a couple of pastries. Atmosphere is fun and nostalgic, beautiful wood work. I will not return.

The lavender in the latte was perfect. Sandwich with smoked salmon was a masterpiece, and felt good to eat as well. Love this cozy, friendly shop.

The best croissant I've ever had! It was so buttery and flaky, then paired with the eggs, bacon, and gruyere cheese was perfection

Kitt’s is a must for us when we’re even near Kearney! They have exemplary coffee (I always get the pour over!) and fantastic food options! For coffee, Kitt’s is at the top of my list in Nebraska. Most recently I had their croissant breakfast sandwich and my wife had the Rooster Crow breakfast flat bread. Wow! The croissant was freshly baked; flaky and soft! Their pancakes are light, fluffy and sweet and their crepes are also a family favorite!
