This place came as a recommendation from Axe Holes. I ordered the chicken fajita salad, and my daughter had the beef fajita. We also ordered the seafood rolls appetizer. Once seated, the waiter asked about drinks, and another staff member brought a HUGE bowl of chips with two small bowls of salsa. The appetizer was greasy and messy. We were not given small plates for this and dripped on our hands and table. I used my coffee plate as a plate. For comment only and not a negative sentiment: The fajita beef was actual beef and not steak. The tortillas were small and thin. The refried beans were very pale (not pinto) but tasty, according to my daughter. We did have trouble before ordering in finding out if the frijoles were made using pork fat. After three attempts and using Google translate to read it to our waiter, he found out the answer for us. The fajita salad was very flavorful, but the salad was lacking (maybe 1 cup of salad if I am being generous), 1/3 cup peppers/onion, and 3 oz of chicken). The taco shell remained crisp to the end and was well shaped. The dressing was delicious. The waiter was attentive to our drinks, but not the clearing of the table or the needed plates and additional napkins due to said lack of plates. There was a small language barrier, however, he did his best to answer our questions.

Lunch service was passable but the food was below average.
The service was horrible, but the food and atmosphere are great! I will definitely be giving this place a second try.

Always good food and service!
It’s Sunday evening and my husband and SIL came into eat at 8:30. At no time were we informed of an early closing time as the website said until 10 pm. Our waitress did not inform us at the time we ordered that we only had a short time to eat. We asked for water/we waited-we requested salsa we waited. Our check was brought to us before we were even close to being done with our meal and our waitress returned 3 times in a few minutes time asking for payment. When we left our card with her and cash on the table for a tip she looked at the ticket and said “No Tip!” I was tempted to take part of my 20% tip off the table for her rude behavior. I requested an additional side of pickled cabbage-none. We felt rushed, the floor was wet walking to the restroom and to the door. The food was lukewarm at best. The lights were out before I got to my car at the curb. If my previous experiences had not been good I would reconsider returning ad the food is usually enjoyable. Unfortunately one experience and a rude waitress changed my mind for a very long time.

For the price we paid and our first time there could of been better. For one the combation plates don't come with rice/bean figure if your going to pay that much for combo it should I got 3 combo dinner my taco was soggy my just chicken and lettuce nothing else my mom's was the same my husband enchiladas were just corn tortillas wrap in meat and soaked with sauce I'm sorry but us Mexican love our food and tell the difference so I don't think I'll be going back just saying
Tonight was our 1st time going here and I would have to say it seemed like a lot of ppl like this place because there was a lot of groups compared to just me and my fiance, but we don't care to ever go back our waitrest seemed like she couldn't understand anything we where saying, I had to wait over 15 minutes to get a refill on my drink and my fiance had to get someone's attention to even get it, we both ordered something with shredded chicken in it and where surprised at the taste, maybe it was just us but our meals tasted like shrimp or like it was marinated with shrimp when I told my fiance that it tasted like shrimp he said "I was thinking the same thing" we even tried each others and still tasted shrimp, also he ordered a margarita first of all he asked for one of the new ones on the door advertisement but got a regular one and he said it had a lot of liquor and let's just say he can drink with the best of them so for him to say it was alot means it was strong asf, we where so disgusted by the taste of the food we didn't order shrimp so our chicken shouldn't have tasted like it. My beans and rice where good tbough. My Fiancé said that it wasn't worth the cost. Like I said it may have just been us because, it seemed like others didn't have a problem, but I doubt we will go back after that experience

While we did have a wonderful time catching up with friends and making new ones here. My 11 yr old son ordered meat and cheese only on his nachos, but received it loaded with jalapeños, pico and sour cream. He decided to just scrape off the unwanted extra toppings. I made sure when he ordered that he only wanted meat and cheese and he clearly said yes right infront our of waitress. I have to be honest that I talked more then anything so I packed mine into a to-go box. Once in the car my husband said that was one place we will not return to. Then to my surprise, I just went to eat my left over pollo tequila and found peas and corn mixed in with my rice, bell peppers, onion, fajita style chicken and cheese sauce ? This is my go to meal at El Torro's and I have NEVER had peas and corn in it..... what's up with that?

First first time visiting this place and it was amazing as for my birthday and I Got the big boss to drink and had to take some of it home with me because it was so huge then I ordered a burrito and it was 12 inches long. Huge portions, great price, great service- (Michael was very nice!) and a great atmosphere!! We will definitely come back here again and again and again.!!!!!

The restaurant was nice, decorated beautifully, however our server was very unpleasant and rushed, and was unwilling to offer suggestions when asked. The food had little to no taste, it was very disappointing. Chips were amazing.
