Good Evans Breakfast & Lunch

Good Evans is a fantastic choice for high quality, tasty breakfast and lunch. The service is friendly and attentive, the restaurant is clean and has a positive, chill vibe to it. I’ve yet to order a dish I didn’t like. We mostly go for breakfast. My wife gets the avocado toast and I usually get the classic breakfast combo with a pancake. It’s consistently good. Highly recommended if you want a breakfast with quality ingredients and excellent flavors.

The food is phenomenal but you can never get anybody to answer the phone to place a carryout order.
Their website doesn't accept carryout orders either.

Not a fan of the chicken fried steak. Seemed over cooked/burned and gravy had unusual spices (garlic?). The eggs and hash browns were excellent.

This restaurant, was awesome!. We went there for breakfast because they opened early, 6:30 AM.

I had the avocado toast, and it was amazing. I’m glad they provided a sharp knife with it as well which made it very easy to eat. All the flavors were perfectly paired.

My wife had the classic breakfast, and I ate some of her bacon which tasted like it was fresh off the farm.

For such a small town, I felt like I was eating in a five star big city restaurant. This place did a lot of things right, including even having phone chargers right at every table.

And lastly, our server was awesome. She was very attentive and friendly. Ultimately one of the best breakfasts I have had in a while.

Great food, great service, and a clean and safe environment make this place a winner for breakfast.

I picked up the sweet potato pancakes, which I've never seen on the menu before, and my wife had the biscuits and gravy. The sweet potato pancakes were like buttermilk pancakes, but with sweet potato bits in them, and they were delicious. Biscuits and gravy tasted just like biscuits and gravy at any other restaurant, but it wasn't bad.

My wife also have the Bloody Mary. It was rated as a 7 out of 10. Not bad, but it also didn't have enough spice and way too much ice.

Restrooms were nice and clean and comfortable to use.

Buyer beware: this place has a line on Sundays constantly, so arrive 25 to 30 minutes early in order to accommodate the wait time for the line.

Whenever we come to Kearney , we always make sure we eat at Good Evan’sWhen we came this trip We ate Breakfast yesterday and today We had a great server her name was Bobbie She was very pleasant and very polite. She gave us the best service both days She should be recognized for being a wonderful server ,today we had a party of six with us and again she gave us great great service and the food was delicious We will continue to eat there when we come to Kearney. I just wanted to let the company know that she was a very, very good server

Good Evens did not disappoint! Always great service and amazing food! Our waiter's name is Thomas, and let me tell you, this kid was on top of it! He had my to go coffee, ready and waiting for me! I highly recommend this place. Whoever you get for a wait service is going to be exceptional!!

Hands down the best breakfast food I’ve ever had! The Eggs Benedict with pulled pork is a must-try—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. If you enjoy a bit of spice, this dish will absolutely hit the spot!

This is a great place to eat - food was fresh, innovative along with all the classics. Coffee roasted in house and have a selection of teas. We had the breakfast pie (on the recommendation of a regular) and sweet potato pancakes, both phenomenal and big portions! Highly recommend!

Waitress was kind but getting our food took forever.
