When someone checks out in the liquor section of the store the clerk needs to tell a shopper with a large grocery order to use the regular store line to check out. He spent 15 minutes to ring up all her groceries and 1 bottle of wine because the customer was too lazy to use their store checkout. We all waited in line for this when the clerk should have directed her to the main checkout of the store.

Self checkout is horrible. The software is poorly designed.Donuts were not labeled in bakery. No idea of the filling or if they were pumpkin, apple, banana, or what (other than taking a best guess.)I want Hy-Vee to be good but they frequently disappoint.

Ordered the 10 dollar steak dinner to take home. They don’t tell you that when you order it you have to cook it further at home. They were not even cooked through. They got grill marks on them and took them off. Why would I order food to take home just to have to cook it anyways and why wouldn’t they inform you of this when you order!???? Unsatisfied is an understatement.

Changed their choices of import beer and now they have very limited choices.
I did not see an option for just the Hyvee grocery store. I did not frequent the 'market' much, but I love the grocery store! My time in Kearney was rough. Most of the time I had little money to spend, but when I did and when I needed some groceries I came here. I felt it was clean, their employees were friendly and helpful, and their prices were nice and of course their selection is great. I felt most comfortable here.

Was using Walmart for groceries but orders never arrived on time and never ready on time. So did hyvee again and love it. Got all we ordered and was ready ahead of time. Wait time to get was less than 1 minute after pulling in. Always greeted with a smile and so helpful. Also groceries not thrown in car like Walmart does.
