We used to eat there everytime we came to Kearney. We have stopped going there now because we do not like eating off of styrofoam plates and plastic utensils.

Both my husband and daughter found hair in their food.
Food was terrible. Ate at 5. Pretty sure everything out on the buffet was from the end of lunch. Chicken in sauces was mushy. Deep fried chicken not in a sauce was rock hard. Wings were dried out and like leather. Noodles were mush. Fried rice was dried out. White rice was on point! The sushi was good but I was also a little scared to eat it just due to the fact that it also had probably been out all day and wasn't cooled --still had a few pieces because nothing else was good.
There were flies every where by the food.
The booth seat we were given to sit at fell apart.

I eat a lot of Chinese food and this was the worst I ever had. Dirty and poor service didn’t speak English much at all. Food was seriously poor quality.

Underwhelmed. Never have used flimsy styrofoam plates and plastic forks at a buffet before this, and the food was so so.

I travel for a living, so I eat out constantly. This was one of the worst chinese restaurants that I've eaten at this year.Food was cold, it appeared that used old food from Sundays buffet. I didn't provide any photos because I'm too embarrassed to admit I actually ate there. $19 for horrible food. I look forward to this restaurant closing their doors before someone gets food poisoning

It's worth eating.
Staying the night in town and since my family’s favorite food is Chinese we decided to have dinner here. I was pleasantly surprised children under 10 ate for free on select nights. Food was fresh and dishes were great! Typical buffet options. Loved the added sushi and seafood on the night we were there. Price was very reasonable. Have to say it’s one of my faves and will plan to stop anytime I’m passing through.

Kings Buffet in Kearney, NE was the BEST food I have ever eaten! Every item on the buffet was delicious! The sushi was so YUMMY! The service was amazing! Waitress was so nice, whole staff was full of smiles! Bathrooms were exceptionally clean!
Dietary restrictions: Something for everyone! My kids have food allergies and they found so much that they could eat! My son ate four plates of food!
Parking: We were driving our big diesel truck pulling a trailer and they had great parking! Full lot right across the street.
Kid-friendliness: The staff was so kind to my children! My son ate four plates! He said that it was the Best food of his life!

We have eaten here a number of times. The paper plates and plastic utensils can kind of suck. They're buffet has some good stuff and some bad stuff. It pretty much just depends on when you go. They've had your basic sushi roll here many times. As far as I know they made their own sushi rolls. I think of this place would go back to using regular dishes and silverware it could be what it used to be.
