I purchased tamales from this place and they were very good. Authentic and a well-balanced of seasonings.

This is a little relatively unknown place on 2nd Avenue. Very clean, friendly staff, Alec was our server with exceptional service, wide variety menu. The food is just okay, not seasoned well-quite bland.
They offer strawberry and regular margaritas which were very very strong!
So happy to try a different type restaurant but wasn't our favorite.

I visited Las Americas a little while ago, and Alex was the one who helped me. He took the time to walk me through the menu, and I truly appreciated his friendliness, patience, and genuine willingness to help. I went back today with my husband, and the older gentleman working was just as welcoming.

You can also tell that the two women preparing the dishes in the back are absolute powerhouses — fast, skilled, and turning out food that is incredibly delicious and authentically made. The whole place has a warm, inviting atmosphere that means a lot to me, especially coming from a culture where hospitality and friendliness are just a natural way of life. Experiencing that same openness here in the Midwest is something I really value.

My husband is from China, and he can sometimes feel nervous going into new places because of cultural differences. Restaurants like this help him feel comfortable, welcomed, and more connected. And while Mexican food isn’t part of my own Colombian background, I deeply appreciate being around other Latino/Hispanic people who share that same sense of warmth and hospitality.

The food was absolutely amazing, the service was wonderful, and the overall experience was something I truly appreciated. Highly recommend! ❤️

My wife had the carne asada street tacos and a tamale while I had the fajitas beef. We also had the chips, salsa, and cheese. The food was very good. The service was good and the inside of the restaurant was clean and better than I expected. The cheese with the chips was really good nacho cheese. The chips are thick and I image made here. We will definitely be back. Give this place a try I don’t think you will regret it

The food is always delicious. We really enjoy taking him the premade enchiladas to cook at home for a special treat!

Stopped in for breakfast with my wife. This place makes homemade tortillas. They had menudo and much much more. I had the chilaquiles and the chorizo breakfast. It was delicious and will be back for again!

The food and the service are awesome. However there was standing water in both the bathrooms. Safety hazard….

I wanted to like this place, but the chips are undercooked. That was a moment of the mediocre food which followed. Nobody at our table finished their meal. When we come through town again we will give other Mexican restaurants a shot.

The food was real good. Prices were fare. The restaurant was very clean. There was alot of food. Had to take some home. They had many types of chip dips. Overall I would suggest eating there.

Best Mexican restaurant in Kearney, hands down. Food is authentic, large portions, and affordable. The tamales are the best I’ve ever eaten, too. Highly recommended.
