Went to The Lodge for prime rib and they did not disappoint. Excellent experience all around and great food. Will definitely be returning!

We ate breakfast on Sunday and everything was great. The staff worked hard and fast and accurately. My grandson loved his pancakes and our waitress! Despite being busy the place was clean and the staff was friendly and engaging. The food is always good and not overpriced. We love this place

Seems like a great social setting for a cup of coffee and maybe a casual meal. The main course in our meals were cold/undercooked and didn’t have much flavor to it. Dessert was pretty good, but didn’t take away the fact that our dinners fell flat. Willing to give a second try sometime, but disappointed at initial visit.

Yes they have grown tremendously, not by their choice. It's not like it was at the old place in the first couple weeks. If you expect it to be a well greased machine in a new restaurant the first several weeks, then don't come. If you want good food at a good price & have a little grace then come eat. Probably should have opened only part of the building to seat people in until they could get up to speed. I will be back for the food again.

The Lodge has just moved to a substantially larger space in the old Skeeter Barns building. They are having some growing pains which is to be absolutely expected. Some new employees, new surroundings, new suppliers and many more customers at a time are a recipie for some confusion and lack of efficiency. From what I saw, they are doing their best trying to get their feet on the ground. They will succeed and given some time and patience they will become as good if not better than they were in their other space. Yes we had to wait longer than normal but the food was good. We will be back. I was in the restaurant business for 20 years and have experienced what they're going through. It's really frustrating when you want to give your customers the best experience and can't. We need to cut them some slack and encourage them. I sure don't want to lose what will be a fantastic restaurant once they get used to their new location.

My parents were celebrating their 59th wedding anniversary and the Lodge was the only place they wanted to go. We waited 15 minutes to get water, 15 to order and then one hour and 30 minutes for our food. All of our food was not good. We made one comment to our server about how it took so long. Afterwards my 21 year old daughter who is a missionary went to speak to an owner/manager. She just wanted to talk to her about our experience. She was told "we all know about your table" and "never to return again." That's not a problem. That was the worst experience we've ever had in any restaurant. My daughter is a sweet girl, a missionary, and would never raise her voice to anyone. Between her and my 85 year old parents, I'm sure we were pretty scary. Never again will any of our family or friends step into that establishment. Also, I've been a server for 12+ years so please don't lecture me on how it's done. Plus, if we were such bad people then why did we leave a tip?

Waited at the booth with my fiancé for over an hour before we got to order our food, just to wait another hour for our food to come out wrong. Waitress didn’t check on us and we had to grab another waitress just to fix our food. Food wasn’t that good and cold. 50/50 chance to come back

Not a good place to eat in Kearney. For the price, service, and quality this should be very last on your list. The bathrooms alone … it’s not a theme. To be fair every table has a warning note notifying you of terrible service your are soon to expect.

Food was good but 2 meatballs with spaghetti were cold. Waited 30 minutes to seat and 45+ minutes for food that was warm at best. Not worth the time spent there.

Not very organized from the start. Hostess was rude to the workers and seen her a few times a little snarky with the customers. Salad and grandsons bowl of chili came out ok and then the wait started. Was 40 minutes and our food showed up and then our appetizer. Grandsons spaghetti and meatballs was mostly spaghetti and meatball soup. I had prime rib with steak fries which turned out to be string fries. Had to have another waiter fill our drinks. I don’t really want to blame the waiter, he seemed very new but overall an hour and forty minutes for two meals was horrible.

I likeD the Lodge. Went there multiple times when they were in the old spot. Was a little sad to hear they may be shutting down and a little happy to hear they were going to move. Unfortunately that's where the positivity ends. Was excited to go to the new location. Walked in and place was packed. Good to see them getting supported by the community. 30 min wait, to be expected really. Then sat for 15 waiting for our drink order , and order as we'd had time to thoroughly decide, to be taken. Then nearly an hour for food to be brought out. Got the special ( 16oz steak) and it was one of the worst steaks I've ever had. Not that it was rotten or cold or tasted bad. It tasted like nothing... not a single hint of flavor. Drinks(water) was refilled once , when we were almost done. Asked for something, a pack of croutons for the salad or a new fork for my daughter, several times to different ppl and nothing ever showed up.

I'm beyond disappointed, as was mentioned before, I have gone to and enjoyed the lodge multiple times. But there will not be a repeat. At one point , an older lady had been sitting for so long she was told " she wasn't being rushed but her table WAS needed" to which she responded that she hadn't even gotten her food yet. Sad when local businesses close but nostalgia and local pride can't be the only thing keeping a place alive.
