I wanted to try the lodge out because it been a long time and I hadn't been to their new location. Everything was okay. It was a little bit too cold and dark for my liking but it was okay. The onion rings were delicious. The sandwich was okay. Our waitress was super nice but maybe she talked just a little bit too much but that was okay. I wanted to like it so much but it was just okay.
Food was good, but figure a way to disguise your BBQ sauce on the side so it is not just an out of the refrigerator cold bottle of store shelf bought squeeze. Wait staff was lacking in quantity for the number of customers so wait times were long.
Love this place, the decor, the atmosphere, great customer service. This place is ideal for small group lunch or dinner. The food was good and will most definitely be mu go to in Kearney
