The assistant manager, John, at this location rocks! Clean restaurant, good food, cheap prices, and excellent customer service! A must stop on the way home from a roadtrip—best location ever! Even provided our entire table with their iconic hats to enjoy our meal!

The outside appearance of the restaurant is very rundown! The siding is rotting and the wooden concealment fence on top of the building is falling apart. The front windows are fogged from the inside and need to be replaced... Inside is fairly decent except for the many ceiling tile that are close to falling down. I had the shrimp tacos, they were alright, nothing special.

I grew up in kearney have always loved ljs but this time it was horrible. Last time food was delicious this time your jumbo shrimp were not jumbo, the hushpuppies are not the same and you've changed the fish. Very very disappointing. I have always looked forward coming back to kearney and eating at ljs but it's I think an end of an era! Trying to save money isn't always best when you cut the quality. Sad Sad 😔

Closed over half a hour early. After driving in the snow hauling a car on a dolly across town just for locked doors and people staring when you try to open one. Being 7:25, online shows 9 pm and the door shows 8pm.

It looks like a run-down shack on the outside inside looks more modern the food was good. They've got different food than when I was a kid. My kids really enjoyed it especially the salmon.
