This review is based on my last visit to Nebraska Ale. I've been there 10 times and every time it has been excellent but this last time the service was terrible. It took 20 minutes for me to get my beer and it was warm when It came, also I did not receive my salad early, it came with the meal, which was so disappointing
My sister and I were passing through Kearney at lunch time and decided to try something different.
We were seated promptly, our wait staff was very pleasant, the menu was varied. We chose a Cajun shrimp entree to share, she ordered a side salad. It was big, more like an entree salad. I got a cup of duck gumbo. It was delicious!
Moved from a table to bar. Had one beer. Asked bartender for bill, said she didn't know who my server was, and I needed to find out myself. $13.00 for a 24 ounce beer. And they don't post their beer prices, so you better ask before you order. Server was great, bartender completely rude and talking only to 2 guys at the bar. Never got offered a 2nd drink.
