works don't speak English to start. No one was at the counter to take orders and on top of that they don't put all the stuff with the order.

As another reviewer mentioned, I grew up in Nebraska and Val's was the go-to place for everyone. It was a place that never ever disappointed.
My wife and I had an appointment in Kearney a couple weeks ago in the early afternoon, and had to wait around for a couple hours between the lunch buffet and the dinner buffet.
We were the first people in for the dinner buffet.
We were both extremely disappointed in the food. I ate some salad which was OK but not fresh - probably left over lunch food.
I tried a number of other foods - pizza, pasta, breaded shrimp, chicken, brownies. Absolutely nothing tasted good.
Sauce is what makes pizza! The sauce was not the mouth watering Valentinos pizza sauce of even 5 years ago - it was not good.
When I looked at my credit card bill, I see the payment went to "JIA HUA Inc dba Valent Kearney".
So disappointing that some Chinese company now owns my beloved Valentinos and has turned it into a "cheap Chinese buffet".

Food was really horrible tonight. We went a few years ago and it was good. Today we barely ate anything and ended up cooking at home anyway. :(

Food was dry, place was empty, and we got asked to leave at 2:50 bc they were going to clear food for dinner, we got there at 2:30. Honestly would never go back

We were in Valentino's Kearney on 9/23/2024. The buffet from chicken to pizza or pasta had no taste, plus ice cream not frozen. Two of us, seniors. They never gave us the 25% discount. I left my phone# and they still haven't called. We won't be back.

The chef made a vegan pizza and a no-meat pizza for us. There was plenty of other great food to eat. It was nicely decorated. It was my first time there. I had a good experience.

Kid-friendliness: Yes, it is kid-friendly.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, it is wheelchair accessible.

When I went to order a family pack on the phone they didn't honor the price I was seeing online. I asked the gentleman why the price difference he said I don't have to give you the price online we all price our items differently. I told him that it was misleading!

Nice clean restaurant. All food seemed fresh and tasted good. Had to drive into town a ways from the interstate, but it was worth it. Staff did not speak English very well and there was a little difficulty communicating, but not a problem.

Same nastagolic recipes as the old Vals in Lincoln.

Valentino's buffet mediocre. Well it can offer you a decent amount of options they are just no better than what one can throw together at home. It's nice to have an a buffet such as this yet it could do better.

The chicken and fish were not crispy. Nothing had any flavor except the salad bar and mashed potatoes. Total waste of money.
