Alamo Drafthouse Cinema La Vista

I love the food and atmosphere, but after recently learning that the wait staff does not get the 18% service charge, that it is, in fact, separate, has left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm never going back. Treat your staff right, you thieves.

Favorite movie theater!

Clean, fun, fast, and I LOVE their policy about throwing out loud jerks who disruptive everyone else's experience (though I've never seen it happen here).

The movie parties are a fun, unique experience! :)

Loved it and it's my 3rd time at the theater. Will keep going, especially since they moved our tickets to Tuesday after a ice storm hit Friday night. We were out of the window for a refund but a manager completely understood that safety is better.

I always enjoy coming here. Food is a little pricey but movie theater food always is lol. It tastes great, they're clean and I always have a good experience

Decent food, reasonable prices. Maybe I haven't been to a move in awhile, but it was strange just walking in and having them check my ticker in the actual theater. I'm probably just getting old.

Favorite theater in town! Not a bad seat in the house. Prices are reasonable and service is always friendly. 2024 update... Like everything else, prices on consumables are out of balance in terms of cost versus value and portion size. Still love this theater experience.

First time going there and it didn't disappoint! The staff was super friendly and the food was great!

We watched two movies and both events were enjoyable. It’s nice to order online ahead of time and the staff was courteous. No matter when we go to Alamo, it will be fun.

The service was amazing. They were right on top of it the entire movie! The seats weren’t very comfortable and the popcorn tasted a bit stale. That’s the only reason why I am giving four stars.

Left my purse there tonight after watching a movie. Went back to go pick it up and $100 is missing. Manager said servers clean up the area and put things on their server stations that aren’t theirs for lost and found. Guess they get to go through the lost and found items before turning it in? Either way, never was contacted after they found my purse, and they definitely had our contact information from the tickets…

Love Alamo!!! Staff is always pleasant. This place really enhances the movie-going experience

Update: I have food poisoning thanks to Alamo Drafthouse! Not surprising for how disgusting this place was last night. I’d been so excited to see Wicked and was looking forward to it but at every turn Alamo completely ruined this experience for me. Make it right.
This place has really gone down hill. I’ve been a loyal Alamo customer since they opened their doors in Omaha but I’m struggling to find going there enjoyable anymore. The last several times I’ve been in it’s been a mess. It doesn’t seem like anyone cleans up after each show or they can’t maintain the staff to run the theater efficiently. Popcorn everywhere, sticky seats and menus, as well as smelly theaters. Staff doesn’t duck when delivering food or taking orders and I’ve missed important parts of movies due to it. The management doesn’t take complaints of other movie goers carrying on full on conversations seriously. This place used to be top tier. I definitely have theaters closer to me that deliver a subpar movie going experience but chose Alamo for how they treated the movie going experience. However it just doesn’t deliver on quality these days which is unfortunate. Why have a no texting or talking policy if it’s not enforced?
