The visit was for lunch. There was a 20 minute wait to be seated. Once we sat down the service was kind and fast. The food was good but not great. The portion sizes were small. The best part was my son’s strawberry lemonade. It was served in a large glass and he only drank half of it. My wife and I got diet sodas. The glasses were small filled with ice. I tried the jalepeno popper burger and fries and they were perfect! The staff was very attentive and polite throughout my visit. If you are looking for a good burger, I recommend you stop in!
Charred at Southport is excellent. They have exceptional burgers and sides, and it's always fresh. It's so great to have this gem in an area surrounded by mostly only fast food restaurants.
Parking is abundant, service is prompt and friendly, and it's clean.
Kid-friendliness: Kids welcome. They even offer interlocking blocks and crayons and paper to keep them occupied.
