I've been coming here since I was young and have now grown to appreciate places like this. The food is consistent, staff are kind, and as a whole I always leave happy. My favorite item is the Garden City potato casserole, and I get it every since time. The people I go with generally get a different potato casserole and enjoy theirs too. The portion is big and you get a muffin!
Summer Kitchen always seems to be busy on the weekends, which is great for them!!! I like to go at lunch during the week when there are slightly less people.

My Bestie Coworker and I went and grabbed lunch(Carry-Out), OMG I was so impressed by the staff, sweet, helpful and kind, the food!!! I ordered was the chicken fried steak dinner and it did not disappoint!! The steak was huge, potatoes and corn and gravy was just what I needed on a cold Omaha Day, and the best part, I have leftovers!! My Bestie got the Open-Faced hot Turkey Sandwich, again HUGE portions!! and she loved it! we also grabbed a cinnamon roll and WOW, soft, fresh and the icing not overly sweet!. We will be coming back again real soon. Loved everything. Ya'll Keep up the good work!! Sorry, we did not get any pictures, but next time, I promise to do just that!
