Nice place in a new area of Lincoln. Food was delicious and good cocktails. Service was excellent- restaurant wasn't very full, but our server was very attentive without being overbearing. The most important thing is that their mashed potatoes are hands down the best my boyfriend and I have ever had. I'm going to try my best to replicate them back home, but highly unlikely I will succeed.

My first time to Lincoln, NE and was looking for a decent local restaurant. I first made the mistake of searching restaurants on Google Maps and it recommended a Chinese restaurant close by. Luckily I also checked Yelp and noticed that that same restaurant was rated less than 4 stars. I continued the search and it took me here. I couldn't have been more pleased. I was greeted with happy smiling faces by the hostess, my order was taken within 5 minutes of being seated, drink came out in 2 mins and food in less than 10 mins. Service is extremely important in the restaurant business and this place does not disappoint. On to the food. There is an ample selection of food choices from burgers to entrees and the like but I decided to try their meatloaf. Meatloaf's can be hit or miss based on its moistness and consistency and again, this place delivered! It was so moist and tasty with the grilled onions veggies inside and topped with a honey glazed sauce which was so tasty! I supplemented the meatloaf with slaw (so-so) and their garlic green beans (superb!). Lastly, I ordered an Arnold Palmer. To my surprise, it came out in a massive mason jar and tasted so refreshing! Next time I'm in town, I'll definitely be visiting this joint again!

Toast is great! The servers were friendly, the portions were large, and the drinks were awesome! I had the Rueben with a side of chips and artichoke dip. It was one of the best Rueben's I had ever had!

My husband and I were on our way to another restaurant but couldn't locate it (it was down the street) so we stopped here. We were glad we did! The food was excellent. I had the Classic Burger and my husband had a Heartland burger, with coleslaw and Chips and Salsa as the sides. They were the best burgers that we have had in a long time. I also had ice tea, which was served in a quart Mason jar. The service was very good.

Mac and cheese was amazing, Cobb salad was delicious. The fried avocado was the cherry on top. Amazing service and super fast. Highly recommend this place!!

My husband and I took our kids here and our server was amazing with them!! She was kind and very patient. Our burgers were quite delicious and my sons grilled cheese was also well made. He practically devoured it in 10 minutes!!(a lot faster than he normally eats). I also had a Moscow mule, which was about a 7/10. I've had better but I've also had way worse. We will definitely be coming here again!

Our first visit was a French dip and Ruben. Both better than average so a maybe a go-back. I am older so probably a little old fashioned. I realize what is in style and how hard to get help . I don’t care how customers dress but don’t want the wait staff to look like homeless street people. Most were fine but several with ink, nose rings and jeans in shreds were not conducive to a pleasant dining experience

We needed a place to eat on our way from Omaha to Crete that was close to the interstate. Had never heard of Toast, but the menu looked appealing. My wife and I both had the grilled salmon, with grilled green beans, she had mashed potatoes and I had rice. The meal was wonderful. A very nice sized piece of salmon was cooked to perfection, along with the grilled green beans. The rice was delicious too. We would definitely come back.

Amazing place to eat! Been here 50+ times and each time is amazing. Please bring back the shrimp tacos.? That was the best and a lot of us miss that.

The artichoke dip was great, but not as hot as I wish it had been. The Mac and cheese was fine, but nothing to run home about. The fries were quite tasty and I enjoyed the ranch. I would try this place again, but maybe order something different than the Mac and cheese.
