I am always impressed with Carmela’s! It’s a fancy but comfortable place with friendly and helpful staff. And the food is amazing!

This is one of our favorite date night spots. there is plenty of parking, the location is great, and the food is phenomenal.

Went for a date night and had the best chicken fried steak I’ve ever had!

when we first went there we were fairly impressed. the food was great. tonight though not so much. prime rib Chicken fried tasted like it was boiled first. it was tough with lots of gristle. the pepperoni pizza... the pepperonis were so thin you could see right through them. so it was basically paper thin pepperoni with some cheese and a fairly uneventful red sauce. the lobster bisque if you can call it that was mostly liquid without much lobster flavor. it cost $113 to get out of there. but like any divorce it's worth every penny. I expected a whole lot more. I won't be back.

We love the food at Carmela’s and are rarely disappointed. They can be quite busy in the evenings, so we always make a reservation. Today I was in need of takeout due to taking care of a family member post surgery. When we tried to order online neither of the platforms worked so I called. This was a slow time of day around 4:15pm so an answer is expected. After three attempts to call and receiving the answering system, I gave up. It’s such a disappointment that a local restaurant with good food and an ok ambiance can’t get their customer service together.

The best part about this restaurant was the wine wall.

Discovered this place a couple months ago and thought it looked really cute with the outdoor patio. We kept it in the back of our minds until date night.

We were sat pretty quickly but we were only given a food menu by the host and we had to ask our server for a wine and cocktail menu when they had a chance to greet us. The Pom Fizz cocktail was fruity and refreshing. The crème Brûlée Tini cocktail was ok but generally bland.

All the food sounded amazing on the menu but completely missed the mark. Ordered the Arancini for our appetizer. The Arancini risotto balls might as well have been three fancy unseasoned and not-that-cheesy mozzarella balls. The best part of the dish was the marinara sauce accompanying the underwhelming rice balls.

For entrees we ordered Poblano salmon and Bistro Filet. Both entrees came with risotto, which was depressingly bland. The risotto was so thick it had the consistency of porridge and was desperately craving some salt. Both vegetable sides were simply sautéed in butter, but not a milligram of seasoning touched either side dish. The Poblano Salmon was supposed to be blacked but was generally, (you guessed it) bland. The bistro filet was cooked to perfection and was enjoyable. The filet was the best part of the entree course but still desperately needed seasoning. It had great texture, which was mostly because it was a decent cut of meat.

Service itself was slow with the entrees taking almost 45 minutes to come out after the appetizers. We agreed to skip dessert after such a disappointing first and second course.

Long story short, food was really bland and extremely overpriced at over $120 for two drinks, an appetizer, and two entrees of mediocre caliber at best. I have had more seasoned food at Applebees. We will not be back.

The New Year's Eve prime rib was the worst I have ever eaten. Very tough, barely able to cut it with knife. The menu was misleading when they said herb encrusted, and slow cooked. Terrible.

It was my first time there. I really enjoyed everything about it. I had invited 5 others to join me. Several of them had been there before; and were excited for a return visit. I'm sure I will be back!! Thank you Sheri H.

BLUF: Brunch was "Meh"
Food: "Bistro" means small portions. Out of Quiche. Breakfast potatoes: Served hot & crispy but contained more salt than the State of Utah.
Service: Host seemed annoyed that we needed a table and menus (we were on-time for our reservation). Our server withheld any words of welcome but did take our order.
Atmosphere: A collection of uncomfortable booths, odd curtains, strangely decorated walls, and wine bottles.

My wife and I went here for the first time and did their date night special. Let me tell you... it definitely did not disappoint!!! We ordered a bottle of wine, had the brushetta for the appetizer, both had their jack chicken that was served with mashed potatoes and green beans, and topped it off with desert which we had the better than sex cake. It was absolutely delicious!!! We will definitely come back for date night again!!! The atmosphere was romantic and the service was exceptional!!!

I am giving this restaurant a low rating and would not recommend it to anyone. The service was terrible. The waitress was rude. First, she tried to assist the hostess in seating. She stated it would be a 45 minute wait for one person. When I asked to sit at the bar, she said it was full. I decided to wait, because the reviews of the restaurant were good. When I was seated about 15 minutes later, in a table near the bar, there was nobody at the bar. There didn't appear to be anyone that had just left the bar either. I confirmed this when I asked customers that were seated there before me at a nearby table. The food was okay, but the waitress's attitude turned me off. I would not return, and I don't recommend that you do.

Hey this is Brug Jr, I set this food up for delivery straight to my house due to me being so fat (takes break to catch breath from typing). I cant stand when my food gets handled like it was a new born baby. I like my food well done treated like my 14 year old girlfriend giving me top. anyways I don't think i will be ordering back here again.

OMG, soooooo...
I just wanted to come in with my family of 34+ with possibly moreeee on the way, and they said NOOOOOOOOO!!! >:(((
Butttt I was able to rizz up the manager and persuade her to seat all of us around the restaurant SEPARATELY...
Good thingsss: The waitress we had was VERY nice and had that gyatt. The kitchen was also very quick in bringing out our food! :D
When it was finally time to pay, they demanded that we had to pay nearly $1000!! :((( WTH
I thought they would accept our haggle to bring it down to around 45$ but they ended up calling the POLICE :(((((((
Terrible experience!!
