Best chorizo we have had in Lincoln. This place has been close to our house and finally when I saw it had over 4.5 stars decided to give it a try. We weren’t disappointed, after one visit it might be our favorite Mexican restaurant in town. The waiter recommended their chimichanga which was smothered in their queso. We got shredded beef and it had jalapeños in it, it was decadent. Service was top notch and quick. The salsa was good, margaritas were strong, and food delicious....
Stepping in feels like an authentic local Mexican restaurant. Service was fast and friendly. Ordered off the lunch menu. Fajita steak salad had good flavor. I wasn't expecting the queso but very tasty. Burrito was filled with shredded chicken and had a good tomato based sauce.
Note that they do charge $.99 for salsa for fajitas on to go orders. When I specifically asked about a salsa for fajitas, I was told that IT IS NOT FREE and it’s $.99 per salsa.
I was also told that the 1 very mild chips salsa I received is what I would use for my fajitas. This was not enough for fajitas and it’s not the right salsa. I was very surprised. I have never been charged for salsa for fajitas. I didn’t pay the extra for salsa. This policy definitely changed...
