Koen Japanese BBQ & Sushi

The food is great but small portions and expensive. It was an experience being able to cook food at our table of 4. This is more of a special occasion restaurant vs a place you would go frequently.

I came here with a large party of about 40 people. The restaurant was very accommodating and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. We got the large platter for our table of 3. Good value consider it also comes with salad, soup, appetizers, and some of the best rice I have ever had. I have no idea which meat was which, but I liked them all.
Only thing was a long delay in getting a server for first approach.

The quality of meats were excellent! Several choices for side options that were fresh and tasty! Great seasonings for sides and sauces. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Absolutely phenomenal!! Loved the atmosphere, the food was excellent and fun, and the staff was welcoming and knowledgeable.

I’ve been here many times. This time we had the best service, our waiter An was super friendly and helpful, answered all of our questions and was so patient helping us with grilling. Thanks An, we’ll be back again :)

Grill it at your table! They bring you the raw, premarinated pieces, you just throw them over the fire--heat and eat!

Very good food with a do-it-yourself for the grilling. Can be a little pricey but definitely worth it. Would recommend ti anyone looking for a more authentic Japanese meal.

The restaurant is top-notch—the food was delicious, and I highly recommend the Texas Roll D.F. The service was outstanding!

Our waitress was not very attentive. We ordered a platter that was supposed to come with soup and cheesecake and she never brought the soup and we had to ask for our cheesecake. We also ordered jalapeño poppers, which she also forgot to bring, but remembered and they were delivered cold on the outside and lukewarm in the middle. Our bill was $135 before tax or tip, and the service did not meet my expectations for the amount of money we spent. The food quality was amazing though.

Food was good but being from Philadelphia and all Korean BBQ is unlimited this was a disappointment for the $80 I spent. My server was amazing though..

Food isn't too bad here. We do the Korean BBQ. Prices are ridiculous. Expect to pay at least $80 for Korean BBQ for just 2 people. The food is OK, not worth the price.

Koen offers some of the most affordable delicious classic grill-at-your-table Asian BBQ I have had anywhere and am so pleased to find some so close to home. Their stunning atmosphere and generous staff make dining here an elevated experience for a non-elevated ticket price. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

My favorite place to eat in Lincoln! My husband and I like to go to the bbq for a chill date night since there's plenty of time to chat while waiting for your food to cook, and the atmosphere is chill enough to just relax after a long work week. We like to order ala carte to try whatever we want and typically splurge for the wagyu because it's SO GOOD. The bibimbap rice is fire, and the lobster & crab rangoons are some of the best in Lincoln. The staff is always friendly whenever we've gone and service is stellar. It's a bit on the pricier side, but we never leave hungry and the experience + food quality makes it worth every penny. Can't recommend this place enough!
