This Runza is exceptionally clean all the time. Today I came in at 1030a, right at open, as I wanted to deliver some sandwiches to a field team who was having a rough start to their day. Of course the restaurant was super clean, the folks at the counter were friendly and fast, but here’s the thing - it’s this way during lunch rush. And at dinner. I said nothing about being pleased by the service and spotless dining area until I left. This location is just lovely.
I had the southwest chicken salad with extra dressing. It was good after I took all the bad lettuce out. Usually, they do a real good job. But this was the first time at this store. Need a little better quality control. Other than that, the salad was good. I found the bad lettuce on the bottom.
We went through the drive thru tonight and had our dog with us. The girl at the window offered us a pup cup, I said no thank you as my dog gets sick every time she eats ice cream sadly but thanked her anyway. She comes back a minute later and says what about bacon? and had a piece in her hand. Which was so thoughtful! My dog chomped the bacon and I thought it was such a sweet gesture. I run a restaurant myself and things like that are what make people come back. Great service!...
